Project Runway Season 6

WHAT THE... Man... I was shocked that Ra'mon was eliminated. To me, he was one of the front-runners in the competition, along with Irina and Christopher.

Louise, Nikolas, Giordana and (though I hate to admit it) Logan much much deserved to be eliminated before he does.

I thought Christopher's creation was breathtaking, and he deserved to win this week.

^^As Heidi says, "One minute you're in, and the next minute you're out."

Yes, I agree, too. I always thought this show was supposed to be comprehensive-that is, previous designs and challenges should have been taken into consideration, but I guess not. I really thought he would stick around.

I guess it's unanimous. I don't really like Nicholas either (except for his mannerisms...LOVE those), but his design was not only beautiful and ethereal; it was well constructed.

Oh Noes, I can't believe they eliminated Ra'mon and that bitch Nicholas won (i personally can't stand they way he acts on the show or his designs). I totally thought Christopher should have won with that awsome vampire/victorian look. I haven't seen something I liked that much on the show in a long time...but oh well.

well, that is the problem with moving this show to LA and not having Michael Korrs and Nina Garcia around all the time. You end up with two special judges, Hedi and perhaps that editor from Marie Claire. Maybe other times, you end up with three new judges and Hedi. There won't be any consistency in who has the best designs and so many people have won and been in the top/bottom throughout this season. It's good as the show is more unpredictable but bad because the show is so unpredictable.

Christopher really should have won this challenge....that dress was amazing for $150 bucks! And it was unclear what the challenge really was. Were they supposed to be making a costume? or were they supposed to be making a wearable fashion based on the movie character they created? Either way, Christopher should have won. They raved about it, not one of them said a bad thing about it. But a few of them said that Nicholas' dress looked cheap....I don't understand....bring back Nina and Michael!!!

Christopher's dress was really good, and I agree it should have won. But I swear if I have to listen to another one of his tirades about not having any formal training and winning a competition, I'm going to not want him to win anything ever again.

Not sure if Nikolas has been discussed, but I watch the Victoria's Secret annual fashion show religiously. When he said he has worked for Victoria's Secret, he's stretching it a little. He worked with the team that did the wings. He had nothing to do with the actual garments that the models wore.

You can see him at 1:40

Even though I don't like Nicholas, I think he deserved to win this week's challenge. I was sorry to see Ra'mon gone but glad to hear that he's doing well.
I still think Logan's a hottie! Christopher's a hottie too! I'd like to see him with his shirt off.
It looks like in next week's preview that Michael Kors and Nina Garcia are back as judges. I like their comments better than the revolving judges they have.

Am I the only one who thought last night's episode (the Macy's blue challenge) was one of the dullest ever?

^^Dull challenge. Dull outfits. Dull designers.

Irina's V-striped dress was the best of a bad lot. It wouldn't have even come in third in previous seasons.

Poor Louise! She thought that ruffles were going to make her designs more fashion forward?

And I'm really over Christopher's waterworks.

Glad to see Michael back as a judge. I'm told he and Nina were both in Paris for a good bit of this PR season.

If Christopher had worn his shirt dress down the runway it would have gotten a much more positive response. On a man that would have looked good but on a woman it just stunk. Wasn't most of that design the other guy's ideas. That's why he looked so shocked and why Christopher broke into tears. When you think you have created something vision forward (Tim was impressed) and then have comments that sting like hornets is hard to hear so I was not as dismissive of his tears.

Why don't Chris and Logan cuddle and bundle or just fuck (maybe they have). Logan is very hot and I love his quiet demeanor, though that short skirt that rode up as the model walked should have been commented on.

I didn't see anything super creative from any of the designers.

^^Logan claims to be straight. The models believe him, but I'm not sure I do.

Very true. That 'Shell of the Alien Spawn' dress I thought definitely warrant an auffing had it stand alone without Ra-mon's prior creations. But oh, well, it's been a week and I'm over it now.

Actually, I was ALMOST sure that Christopher would be auff-ed too today, seeing that with the exception of Heidi, non of the 4 remaining judges saw the amazing piece of work Christopher made last week- the victorian/vampire masterpiece.

And am I the only one who thought the judges were unnecessarily harsh on Christopher? Was it really that bad? That shirt-dress I thought was cute, the only thing I agreed with the judges was fabric choice, otherwise I thought it was incredibly creative to think of a shirt-dress. And the second piece I thought was cute, too. How the heck does it look like a disco ball? But then again, maybe it's only me.

Poor guy didn't deserve all those pile of crap that the judges dumped on him.

But Louise really deserved it. I'm surprised why Nikolas didn't stop her at her track while creating, as Michael Kors call it, the shower loufa ruffles. The dress with the overgrown pubes flowing from neck down her midline to the floor was disastrous to say the least.

^^Logan claims to be straight. The models believe him, but I'm not sure I do.

I think he is. I mean the 'I'm into muscle cars and extreme sports' demeanor was unnecessary. But the dude is relaxed, chilled out and seem like a nice guy overall, so there's no need to chastise him over his sexuality. He may be straight (I'm convinced of his straight-ness) or bi, or gay, whatever! Doesn't really matter.

What I want is for the producers to edit in more scenes of him in his shirtless glory, though :p woo-hoo!

A scene of him having freshly showered and stepping out of the shower would be nice. ;)

I'm glad Louise went home. Her designs with the ruffles was horrible. Nicholas didn't care because he had immunity from being sent home this week. Christopher's designs were also terrible. I don't know what happened with him this week. He usually comes up with an interesting and nice looking design. I'm glad he wasn't sent home.
I'm glad Michael Kors is back. The show isn't the same without his critiques.
I thought this weeks challenge was boring in blue. Even though I love blue I wasn't impressed by any of the designs. Irina's was the nicest of the bunch.

One thing I did think while watching was that it was a bit much how Christopher burst into tears the minute the judges said ANYTHING not positive about his designs. I mean seriously, if you can't take criticism at ALL without nearly running off the runway bawling, perhaps fashion is not the right business for you.

However, that doesn't change the fact that I think he's really, really hot.

Isn't he just the worst?! They give him a win and he goes on about how amazing it is to win without having any formal training as a designer (we heard you loud and clear during the intro, Chris). They criticize him and he breaks into a million pieces. He'll never survive Cathy Horyn if he ever wins and puts out an unflattering collection.

Giordana deserved the win last night, and I was happy for her. She did a great job.

Any of the bottom 3 could have gone home. Logan's cuter, I guess, and can keep more viewers than Epperson.

Poor Christopher. He seems like such a nice guy but also seems to be in way over his head. WTF was that he sent down the runway last night?

That winning dress was dreck. That little number that had the stitching was the only one that deserved a win. The girl who has won twice in a row had a beautiful color to her dress, gleaming but the dress itself was ick.

Poor Logan he is running on his looks. His design was just horrible, but then I think most of the designs are horrible this time round. Where is all the style and imagination we've seen before? Not in this group.
