Project Runway Season 6

I was also suprised Christopher wasn't auffed this week. He's been in the bottom 3 times. I think next week he's going home. He started out great and then fell down quickly. Maybe it's because he doesn't have the training and he's self taught.
This season it's not as good as past season shows. They're not as talented a bunch as other seasons.
It'll be interesting to see who makes it to Bryant Park in NYC.

My Mom and I were surprised when Christopher didn't go - like JB1986 I love Christopher to death and think he is absoutely adorable but thought with him being at the bottom three for 3 weeks in a row that he would have gone and Nicholas stayed. Oh and btw JB1986, I am the first Jubber to call dibbs for a date with Christopher so back off! :) - LOL, j/k. But seriously, IChristopher is a cutie.

Oopsie, sorry. I forgot you called dibs first, hon. That's okay, I can wait for Christopher. I'm a very patient man. :D

When Heidi said Christopher was in tonight, I literally shouted "WHAT?" at the screen. That dressed looked like an ugly Christmas tree ornament. For like the fifth time in a row, he should have been elminated. The judges really got this one wrong; Irina should have won. Yes, she's a biotch, but she is the best designer left, period.

For those watching models of the Runway: do you think Kalyn was wearing the double-sided tape? Something about the way she handled the situation seemed a little insencere, so I think she may have been wearing it and lying about it.

Awww...my little boy toy Logan is gone. Oh well...I think that this might be my last season. It just isn't the same anymore.

Yeah, Logan gone, gone eye candy. He was a terrible designer but I didn't give a fuck. He was cute, and he was a nice guy.

I know Elana or wetf her name is should win because she has a big talent, almost as big as her snooty, rotten, unloveable personality.

Last night's challenge was one of the more interesting ones this season.

The most revealing moment last night was Irina's insinuation on the runway that Althea's design was "inspired" by hers. Contrast this with Althea's concern about the collar of Logan's outfit and her decision to let it go and not make an issue of it.

Interesting karma that Althea acted as an adult and Logan was eliminated, anyway, and that Althea won the challenge over Irina.

Irina's habit of bad-mouthing the work of the other designers is a sign of immaturity and probably insecurity. She can't just say "I looked around the room and feel confident about my design this week." She has to cut down the work of others. She has said several times that she is not there to make friends. Could it be a defense mechanism because she routinely finds that people don't like her?

I agree. I totally understand how ALthea was pissed initially because she saw the resemblance but then calm down to realize that Logan wasn't doing it deliberately. Irina however seemed to think that she invented the concept of the sweater.

Also I wasn't surprised that Logan went. He hadn't done anything overly impressive and just slid on by as being the cute guy who was nice and chill. Gordana's dress looked like something from a Russian gulag. She should thank her lucky stars that she slid by the chopping block.

Chris may have been at the bottom again btu compared to those two he really didn't deserve to go home.

EW reported today that viewership this season is down 1/3 from the premiere (4.2 to 3.1 million viewers), rather than increasing as the season goes on, as happened in previous seasons.

All the complaints cited in this thread were pretty much mentioned as the cause.

The next season is already in the can. They're back in New York, and Nina Garcia implied that the fantastic four (Heidi, Tim, Nina and Michael) are on board for the whole season.

Unfortunately, yes she is.... And on that note, I'd like to go on record to say this has been the most mundane, mind-numbing season, yet. Basically, I find myself perfunctorily watching the show instead of enjoying it. I heard people complain about last season, but comparing this one to last is like comparing a silent picture to a modern thriller.

Agree with everything in your post. (*8*) Irina is talented so I wonder why such a pretty young woman has such a rotten personality?

I love me some Carol Hannah!

I think Giordona will be auf'd next week. Her outfit was a hot mess. nothing at all nice about it.

I'm sorry to see cutie Logan go but his designs were horrible!! He should change job careers as either a model or a male escort. LOL
Curious to see next week's show and to see who makes it to Bryant Park.

Oh, and i really think Gordona shoulda been auf'd over Logan... that was a bore to watch.

Gordana and Logan both should've been gone a while ago. You've been able to tell for some time that neither of them were gonna win this thing. I don't have anything against them personally but I think keeping Ramon and Epperson would've made things far more interesting.

I'm only waiting for this week's episode cause Cindy Crawford is going to be a guest judge (!)

I don't think i can take much more of this season.

The show is boring, the designs are boring, the challenges are boring, the people are boring, and not enough of Nina and Michael in the first few episodes really ruined it.

I remember a Mad TV skit making fun of Project Runway and they called Nina the resident bitch. And rightly so, I love her remarks.

Cindy was fierce! Loved how she could tell what the dresses feel like without even wearing them.

Nina, cold as usual, love it.

LOL I was not surprised at the waterwork that was Christopher. Go home already.

The judges made the right decisions last night, but I didn't think any of last night's designs were so special. Carol Hannah's was the best, but I think she held back after her consultation with Tim Gunn.

Christopher is a really nice guy, but the waterworks get old. He got spot-on advice from the judges - he has great ideas but still needs to develop his skills in translating them into wearable garments.

I'm glad to see the three: Althea, Carol Hannah, and Irina made it to Bryant Park. Though a bit predictable. This season was a bore.
I hope next season it get's better.
So who do you think is going to the winner of Project Runway? It's probably going to be Irina.
