My guess is Irina, too. It really depends on the strength of the runway collection. I'd be thrilled if Carol Hannah wins.

Pretty much every outfit Irina put down the runway this season looks like it could have won the challenge. Given a couple of months a proper budget, I think something would have to go VERY wrong for her to not win.
I am however kind of hoping Althea can pull an upset just because I LOVE her model Tanisha and I want her to get the fashion spread. She is the only one of the final three models that deserves to be there IMO.

I have to agree that the judges did the right thing most of this season.

Very true. I loved the Aspen look she did a few weeks ago. It was very well-made and luxurious and I could actually see people wearing it in a ski lodge.
Like I said, she probably deserves to win the competition, but her bitchiness keeps me from rooting for her, LoL.

I've been watching it, though there has been pretty much NO suspense on that show except in the episodes were the designers were forced to switch models. I have to admit I REALLY grew to like Christopher's model Katie in the last couple of weeks and I would have liked to see her at Bryant Park. I really didn't want Kalyn to go because I think she was wearing double-sided tape that time and lied about it.

Yes Irina's a bitch but nobody can hide the fact that she's an incredible designer. She should win this season's PR.

it's not looking good for Carol Hannah with her illness during fashion week. I don't like the preview for part 2 of the finale at all.
Come on...lets be honest...not many project runway contestants will be able to pass christians final collection.

Ya I thought Christian's collection was unmatchable for a while after seeing season 5 finale. But after seeing this one, Irina managed to merge Couture and Ready Wear perfectly. Christian's collection was very couture but not many can wear his collection. In terms of point of view and cohesion they are equal but workmanship, Irina is far more skilled than Christian (when he was still on the show, because now Christian has grown tremendously...have you seen his collection lately *gasp*)
hehe yeah, just my opinion.

I think Irina is going to win. This season was very predictable and dull. I'm hoping next season is much better.

Maybe it's just me, but I felt like in the last couple of episodes there have been a few brief moments that hinted that beneath the bitchy facade Irina may actually be a pretty nice girl.

I know alot of people complain about the contestants being less creative but I think the challenges are less creative all around. It seems like a lot of the challenges this season were just like soooooooo make something that vaguely has to do with Michale Koors or Macy's or these models or bikinis etc etc
Where as before it was like... so here's a grocery store make me a dress. Clearly the latter lends itself to creativity far more.

I have watched every episode this season and have been disappointed almost every time. Either the episode is boring, the designs suck, or the wrong person got booted. I would have liked to see what Ramone could have produced for a final collection, simply because he had an interesting perspective. However, overall I believe the talent pool was pretty weak so its hard to say none of the final three deserve to be there because none of the others showed much.
I usually hate "the bitch" whoever he or she happens to be, but I don't really see Irina as one. She was particularly nasty throughout the show and any edge she displayed is probably because a lot of the others did suck. She is the only one who consisently produced good work.
But because reality tv is what it is, I think she is not going to win. And I bet she will lose on some fake technicality like the woman Jay beat in part because of those shoes.

I went into it thinking Irina would win, and rightfully so...and then Carol Hannah's collection came down the runway. I loved every single piece, even the upside-down pyramid dress which I hadn't been crazy about in the preperation footage in the past two episodes. She has a good eye for color; two of her dresses in particular were successful largely due to the great color she picked for them. At first glance, she seemed like the clear winner.
I wasn't crazy about Irina's collection at first (especialy the hats) but when they showed her stuff again while the designers were talking to the judges, I actually liked it a lot more. So basically, I knew it would come down to the individual taste of the juges.

I think Christian's (Season 4) batch had the most challenging season.

- This season's challenges seems pretty easy compared to the past seasons. They didn't really have something that's almost impossible like the Make an outfit using Candy stuff or make an Outfit using a Car...
