Proposition 8 Has Officially Passed

Which is, after all, very little.

Depends how you define "very little".

Subject to a number of limitations, the Legislative, Presidential and Judicial Powers are, on their face, extensive.

That guys like you choose not to see them that way doesn't change that reality.

The powers as enumerated in the Constitution are "very little".
The powers as practiced these days are extensive.

^ As I say, it depends how you define "very little".

They are clearly set out and, subject to their limitations, are far from "very little", both as they appear on the page and as they are practiced. Obviously, people can verify the text and come to their own conclusion.

But spin, spin away. LOL.

This sucks as far as gay rights go, but I can't pretend to be surprised that it was passed.

I would imagine it will be low. It is extremely devisive and his first mandate is to bring the country together to recover from this recession. He then needs to get some healthcare rolling. He also has to end a war in Iraq and ramp up one in afghanistan. So I am thinking an issue that touches 1 in 10 and is opposed by 45 to 75 percent, depending on who you ask, will not make any headway.
