I use to think protein shakes were kinda gimmicky, so i did the natural eat a ton of chicken and white fish, few cards abd few fats. Not atkins style but close.
I got ok results but when i started to add in creatine and NO2 prework and a quality protien shake ( i like ON Iso WHey Platium) and i add a scoop of "Pure Soy" soy protien,post workout. I really bulked up once i started doing that and keeping my lean meat intake high.
I think your general diet matters more, the shakes and bars are like boosters but if you diet overall sucks, then whats the point?
