The media is always captive for ratings and money. This is why their new cash cow Trump will be treated with kid gloves. As for protesting, it is hard not to become demoralized. Our Trump here in Wisconsin Scott Walker was met with over 100,000 protestors for over a month (which he ignored and threatened to disrupt with violent agitators) and was finally pushed into a recall. The ignorance of the people prevailed and he won the recall and a second term. The destruction he has caused to the progressive institutions in the state are irreversible (he and his GOP cronies even rigged the election system through gerrymandering so that even if the Dems won 56% of the popular vote - they would never get more than 46% of the assembly seats). Trump will ignore the protests - sad to say - but in the new Fascist America - democracy is dead.
