I get stock phrases mixed up frequently. I was entering the gym and the clerk said "have a nice workout," and I said "thanks, you too..." And the other day at a job interview (the one that hired me, BTW), I was leaving the recruiter and shook her hand and said "It's been nice meeting you," although I had met her on three separate previous occasions; what I meant to say was "It was nice to see you again," but that's not what came out. I don't think she noticed.
I call them Senior Moments, and classify them with those moments when you walk into a room and can't for the life of you remember why you went in there. Or when you say "I can't find my keys" and Grandmother asks, "is that them hanging from your beltloop?" It's just a matter of not concentrating on unimportant details, and nothing to worry about.
