According to the LOGO Site ... QAF will have an "Advisory" and will be rated TV-MA.
Hopefully; that means that they are NOT going to "Edit" ...
I've written to then asking if they will be airing an Un-edited version ; and will post their reply as soon as I recieve it .

What happened in the end?

Justin's artwork starts to get noticed by famous critics in New York and is encouraged to go by Brian and Linds. They pretty much left the door open with their relationship. The last scene with them is sad and loving. Brian gets depressed once he is gone and Micheal comes in to help take his mind off of him by encouraging Brian to rebuild babylon. In the end everyone is paired up except for Brian.

I wish there was an alternate ending.

Babylon was bombed when Brian allowed Micheal and Ben to have their fundraiser to support gay marriage there. Thats when Brian started to be less of an ass and tells Justin he loves him after he almost lost him and the rest of his friends in the blast.

It's rated TV-MA and says "parental discretion advised" on the commercials so chances are they might not edit it too much or at all. They've aired one program unedited before: Angels in America. I've flipped past that before in past showings and I've heard the word fuck at least 5 times in a minute.

"we" are entitiled to happiness so long as we're not ultra narcissitic.

I mean, that Brian character just kept everyone around him as props in the phoney life he had.. he kept stringing everyone along and using them for whatever he needed.

Someone like that.. gay or straight.. is going to end up alone.

He wasn't punished for being gay, he was punished for being a jerk.

From what I hear, they're rating the show TV-MA, so chances are they might not be editing anything. To tell the truth, I will be a tad let down if it is edited

'Rating' notwithstanding, it is absolutely for certain that QaF will be heavily edited before LOGO airs it. I will bet you one million dollars on that.

even though some cable companies carry Here!, which from what I hear doesnt edit their programming, Logo is the only gay oriented channel I have with my cable service, so I'll be glad to see QAF in any form. I usually hate when networks edit stuff and I still dont like that they do it, but I guess considering the situation I'm in, it makes me more grateful in this case.

It's nice that they're starting to get more fresh programming again. August and September were really, and I mean really starting to get bad with the rerun abuse.

Oh, you mean they started reairing things 357 times in a month instead of the usual 223 times they would? Also, sadly, HERE! and although they do have the occassional fresh original programming the vast majority of it is really cheaply bought movies. I'm about to do some digging to find out how much their budget is, how much the movies they're purchasing the rights to air now charge, and how much it would cost to have HERE! start carrying some of the movies I'd like to see...

I have received a reply from LOGO Viewers Services . They say that "YES" ; it will be edited for time constraints and since it will have Sponsors .. some other editing will take place . However; they claim that they will do their very best NOT to destroy and ruin the storyline etc ...
We'll all just have to wait and see just how much they actually do cut out ....

Homoaffectional, I never said that I was positive they wouldnt, I said chances are they might not. I was just basing that on the couple of commercials they've been recently running. Not many of Logo's programming are marked with parental discretion warnings. I think the only other one that had that mark was Angels in America, and that wasnt edited. I never said for certain that it wouldnt happen. We'll see how much will get cut out when it airs. Hopefully not too much to ruin it.

Some people felt that way about Sex and the City, but that's still being rerun on local stations in the US. I'll still be glad to see QAF in any form, but I also sincerely hope it isnt edited too harshly. Since I've never seen an episode before in full except for the first one, hopefully watching Logo reruns will inspire me to get the DVD's later on if I wind up liking the series enough to see it uncut.

Trust me QAF was not as tame as SATC.

I know, I've heard about the show a lot. That's not what I was trying to say. My point is that SATC was a series that originally ran on a premium network channel just like QAF, and now it's been in reruns on both cable channel TBS and local stations for over a year, and cursing and nudity are edited out. I.E. the word fuck is dubbed over with freak. But here's hoping QAF wont suffer too much with being edited.

Babylon gets bombed during a 'guest shot' appearence from Cyndi Lauper, of
all people...... She's 'mid-concert' when..... *KABOOM*

Actually, they handled the scene fairly well, with only one minor character
dying.

The series ends in the same frustrating way it began.....Some fairly good and believable scenes interwoven with some completely ridiculous sub-plots. Why
the writers did this, I'll never know.

It's interesting to me how Rosie's three show 'arc' was handled. The only
person she interacted with was 'Debbie', and it thru the show off whatever
balance it had managed to obtain.

All in all, QAF ended with a resounding *THUD*.

Sad.

I was.

The only reason that I didn't punch Gale Howard in the face was that I'd fet my ass fired, and I wasn't willing to do that for a complete waste of skin like him.

RAndy Harrison was a bit stuck up, but other than that, the rest of the cast couldn't have been nicer.

(a funny aside... the guy who played Emmet was looking for an album, and I extended my hand to tell him to come with me to the computer... he took my hand and the two of us walked hand in hand through the stock room.. all the stock guys turned around and looked with a totally confused look on their faces and whispered "Why is Mr. Mark holding hands with that dude?"

The following Monday a newsletter went around the entire national wire about the successful instore.. and the director of marketing made a comment about how "Jasun Mark, Purchasing Manager, even got into the spirit by being seen walking around the store hand in hand with one of the male cast members".

I got teased about that for the rest of the time I worked at that store.)

no matter how much of a prick Gale Harold is....He's one hell of an actor.

I dunno....

I watched him in his new series on Fox. Or is it NBC ? Well, one of the two.

Anyhoo, not a lot of range there..... It was like watching Brian Kenny solving crimes....

Then again, I may be biased, it's hard to see him as anyone except that character.

Well I watched it, they cut the sex scences down to a PG and all the curse words were muffled out, they even cut the word ass,
For heavens sake why bother with the warning at the beginning.
I had programmed my DVR to record all the episodes, but I cancelled it after seeing what LOGO did.
