Queer As Folk

I really miss it. I know it is not without its problems, but I loved the "in-your-face" aspect that is missing from everything gay from Will and Grace through Modern Family and Glee.

I tried to watch the British version after I finished all five seasons of queer as folk, but I was turned off after the first episode; I guess it's due to the fact that in my mind, only Randy Harrison could be Justin Taylor and Gale Harold could be Brian Kinney. (Also has anyone noticed all the American actors are better looking than the British actors in Queer as folk?)

I never really watched it while it was on TV, but my boyfriend owns all the seasons of the US version. Him and his best friend ALyshia swear by it beign an awesome show, but it never really appealed to me. Well, my BF's brother was borrowing the seasons, and has begun watching them with his friends from the beginning. We were over a few times while an episode or two was playing, and I'll admit I was a bit intrigued. It's not bad... a little cheesy (especially if your high.....) but overall I kinda like it. i may have to get my boyfriend to get his seasons back so I can see them lol!
