Question about electric range oven

Mine has a Sabbath Mode, intended to allow the range to be used by Sabbath-observant Jews on the Sabbath and Jewish holidays.

(In Sabbath mode, the standard automatic shutoff is overridden, allowing observant Jews to begin or plan a heat cycle the day before.)

Ours is "where the baking sheets and roasting pans are". Although they tend to shift around and wedge themselves in there a bit too tight.

I abandoned cooking (and heating water) with gas soon after I moved here years ago, because gas lines don't run out here. I kept having to get refills on cylinders every so often. Twice forgetting to get refills before the gas ran out was just doo often for me.

When I changed to an electric water heater, I had a switch installed, so that I can heat water only when necessary.

However, my office (in a separate structure) is heated with propane [gas].

Anyone have an induction range? I've been thinking about buying one to replace my electric one. I usually cook with iron skillets, and induction works well with them because they are magnetic. But inductions are also much more expensive.
