He was found dead this morning in his home. No news on the cause of death.

He was only 50 and so handsome! :(

I was totally crushed out on him for years! This is pretty sad news. Good gawd, he was so handsome.

News is saying that he may have hit his head or something struck him on the head during a hard landing on a USAir flight last night.

His wife said he wasn't feeling well before he went to bed last night.

If he was bleeding in his brain due to the impact, it could have been a stroke. It must've been a nasty impact if it later killed him. I am just guessing of course.

If so, we really all need to take care putting things into and taking stuff out of overhead lockers on planes...

True! I live in Canada, and I surf more than watch. Though usually a lot of American stuff filters up. Still, sorry to hear of his passing.

Billy was the pitch man for all those "As Seen on TV" household items like Oxy-Clean, Hercules Hooks, Orange Glo, etc. Oxy-Clean is decent, and the Hercules Hooks are the best way to hang pictures on drywall. He was rather loud in his delivery which turned off a lot of people, but he seemed pretty cool.

No, really a very minor bump can cause this. You get a bump on the head and you think it's alright, but the injury is internal. People need to take head injury of any type seriously. This is what Natasha Richardson died from.

Furry cuddle bear indeed !! soo sad !! Yeah, i was reading that the plane blew a front tire on landing - and so there must have been a big "lurch" or "bump" and even seat-belted - he coudda hit his head -- and like poor Natasha - didn't get checked out by a DOCTOR !!! -- you can't let these things go - by saying - I'm tuff or i'm okay -it's nothing - when you're not in a position to know.. SOOO SAD... When the ski accident happened -- i was at the Dr.'s that day for something else - and he said then - sadly - you CAN'T make people get medical attention. You can advise them - then they have to make a choice. and if they walk away - you can't force them to come back. I wonder now if the airline even MENTIONED TO PEOPLE that if you "banged anything" PLEASE SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION and get checked out immediately.. or were they too concerned about lawsuits and their departure/arrival "schedule" to just move on like nothing happened since they apparently landed the aircraft safely..

Richardson's poor kids (and husband) will suffer now for a bad judgement call- as will poor Billy's wife. Whatever happened - it's another sad sad loss... enuff already..
 
I can't believe all these deaths. Michael Jackson, Ed McMahon, David Carradine, Jeff Goldblum, Billy Mays, and Farrah Fawcett. I don't rmember ever having so many so close. And who would have that that Patrick Swayze, Elizabeth Taylor and Elizabeth Edwards would outlive them all?
