Stephen Colbert meeting Radiohead is such a special occasion, a regular episode of "The Colbert Report" wasn't sufficient.

The Comedy Central show will air its first hour-long episode Sept. 26, when Colbert sits down with the British rock group.

Radiohead will perform four songs, featuring material off its most recent album, "The King of Limbs," as well as the recently debuted and unreleased track, "The Daily Mail." An additional song will also be performed for the online version of "The Colbert Report."

Colbert said in a statement: "I look forward to meeting the Radioheads and leveraging their anti-corporate indie cred to raise brand awareness for my sponsors."

Radiohead on 'Saturday Night Live': Dancing Thom & 2 Drummers

With a shimmying Thom Yorke at the helm and an extra drummer thrown in for good measure, Radiohead performed during the season 37 premiere of "Saturday Night Live" this weekend. Opening with "Lotus Flower" off this year's "The King of Limbs," the now-sextet barreled through the synth-heavy single with ease after being intro'd by host Alec Baldwin.

For their customary second performance, the boys played the non album track, "Staircase," a fairly accessible, bass heavy song with a dreamy, catchy melody line. "Staircase," which debuted over the summer, features the talents of drummer Clive Deamer, a dead ringer for Radiohead's Phil Selway and a frequent contributor to Portishead, among others.
