So, this next preview is all about Katelynn and her "new" body. Has she ever said or is it assumed what she is referring to? I know she talked about her surgery with not having male parts anymore, but anything else? Boob job? Butt job? Or what?
 
I'd gladly chill with Scott in a second before I'd waste breath being around the 2 other straight losers on the show...

I guess its just weird sometimes how looks can completely override personality. I mean even if Scott wasn't "so" attractive or was borderline average (like Ryan & Chet); his personality (from what we've been shown) is 10 times more appealing than theirs - yet people swoon over them a crazy amount

But whatev, shallowness is what it is.

Just interesting how many would pass Scott over for the often times ignorant, judgmental, offensive, and/or just plain lame personalities of the other guys

It has nothing to do with jealousy, after watching that daily episode where he speaks about his feelings toward Devyn, he started giving me the impression that he is an undercover jerk. He had no problem pointing out her imperfections and flaws, so why can't we point out his.
 
Well, I hope the Duel 2 doesn't disappoint, most of challenge 'sequels' tend to do just that.

BUT...he has been one of the few castmembers so far this season (along with Sarah) who hasn't taken part in much drama or tried to start any. He seems like he'd be a really nice guy to be around. Respectful and easy-going...

and he's also one of the few I'd trust with a secret. Not that it necessarily counts for much.

I agree. I think people are being too hard on Scott. I thought his modeling pics were bad but that's it. He seems like a pretty decent and real guy. And prolly the only person I could tolerate IRL. It is puzzling to me why so many people are so hellbent on tearing him down. What is he doing that is so horrible? Because he wants to be a model. I dont think he's got the goods entirely but he seems very hard working and determined. I have nothing but respect for that.

I don't find him to be too into himself. He just minds his business. Ryan and Chet should take notes. Instead of sitting around worrying about everybody's sexuality, penis size, where they get their underwear. Scott does seem to be caring and supportive of the other roommates but doesnt feel the need to pry into their lives more than they want. He has his own life. Why sit around gossiping all day instead of doing something with your life?

After JD, I hoped that Scott would be the next guy Katelyn would tell about her situation. He just seems mature enough that he would remain respectful of her being transgender (whether he was familiar with the issue or not) - as opposed to the "I'm so unfamiliar about the subject that I'll make shitty goofy faces and act like a 13 year old" Ryan or "I'll be nice to you to your face but I'm doing you a favor by merely tolerating you but still condemning you to an eternity in Hell" Chet
 
Is that video legit at all? I hardly think some of those "rookies/fresh meat" whatever would qualify. Landon has been on tons of challenges. It also seemed like there were a lot more of them than of the veterans.

I also liked how he talked to Ryan after the shaving cream incident. He did it mildly, simply pointing out that wen you do pranks there aren't really any rules about someone doing them back to you. Of course Ryan was still upset and wouldn't listen. Why would Scott work out and develop his body and not be proud to discuss it or show it off. Every guy, including myself, who works hard to keep a good body likes attention to the result.

Thanks for the Duel video. If it has Issac and Brad, I'm there. They are sometimes bad shows like that recent fiasco, but somewhere there is something interesting.

There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance. You can show off your body without going through your whole portfolio of half-naked (or mostly naked) shots. And really, if you have a nice body, it shouldn't take you talking about it that much and blantantly showing it off for people to notice. He's just not subtle at all.
There are a lot of guys who claim that being muscular is just natural and healthy, well, if you're looking for attention, then your reason isn't just natural and healthy. I don't think he's under any dillusion that he's doing it to be healthy.

I'm right there with you on Isaac and Brad. Brad kinda lost points with me for liking Tori. not cuz she's a girl but because she's an awful bitch. I also like Ryan's skinny gay ass.
 
I'm not really surprised about JD because he has trifling written after the whole drunken incidence where he talked shit about Katelyn and Devyn. So it is what it is.

This was an interesting episode, the boys and girls dividing seem to come out of no where. I can understand them not wanting to wait for the girls if they are always going to be late though. Katelyn needs to calm down, she is all over the place. And why does she feel the need to do a pole dance in a bar that doesnt have stripper poles.

I did like her talk with Ryan though, he reacted as normal as can be expected for him. I hate chet, he just seems like an ass to me. Scott seems like a good person though, I also dont see what is wrong with someone being proud of their body.

Does anyone think that Sarah is playing a little too "nice"? I have no problem with her but sometimes i wonder.
 
I don't think Ryan redeemed himself at all. He was just as ignorant as ever. Really all the guys were terrible. Their behavior at the AIDS event was ridiculous. Could you imagine if someone you love died from AIDS and some idiot was playing with their friend's ear with their flag?

Ryan was ok with the talk. But the way he talked about it was still very immature and kind of demeaning. And I can't forget Ryan and Chet eavesdropping on her confessional then telling everybody. It's stupid how people give straight guys credit for being sort of accepting. Gay people need to have self-worth and hold straight people to a higher standard. It's like people wanna throw Ryan a parade because he isnt tranny bashing her. He still isnt as respectful as he should be and he shouldnt be let off the hook until he is.

Ryan was even worse on the aftershow. That idiot actually made me start to like Colie, and her comments about malintent. Katelynn is still adjusting to herself. And her constantly making jokes with the guys seems more like her pretending it's funny to fit in. I doubt that really helps her self esteem. It's like when a fat person makes fun of how fat they are but inside they really are ashamed and tormented by their weight. They think "I'll make fun of myself before other people do it."
