They aren't really getting any. The last completely normal RR was X-Treme, which was probably 4 or 5 years ago. Then they had a "Viewer's Revenge" that was half new people/half people already on RR. And then one of the challenges was "Freshmeat" or something, and had half new people/half people on RW/RR. So other than RW, that's where the new people are coming from, but most of them have been used a bunch already.

That explains why I didn't recognize so many of them for so long.

The money they win from these challenges and the money they make from appearances are the two main sources of income for a lot of these people.

Yeah they might as well do the challenges because they get paid just for being on them. I saw some figure about a past challenge and it was a pretty nice paycheck if I remember, just for being on the show. And how much you got depended on how many weeks/days you were there I think. Then there's the big prize.

They are ridiculous. I blame Chet and Ryan for the shittiness of the guys. They banded together because they're both conservative, judgmental assholes. So they became a team. JD decides to be one of those dumb homos that is so desperate to fit in with the straight guys so now it's this boys versus girls bullshit. It all goes back to how childish Ryan and Chet are. I cant remember a real world where they were so consumed with keeping this boys versus girls bullshit going. It's some shit little kids do.
