Is Black Friday a thing there? We have knock-down dragouts in Walmarts that day. Especially in the South.

I go visit my Mom's kitty almost every day. My last one I had for 22 years, so I kinda miss having one around.

Haven't had a cat in the family in years but some day I would like one again (or maybe even two)
No, Black Friday isn't really a thing here, or at least not as big as it is stateside. We were supposed to have it last month, when America had theirs, but it didn't have much impact, at least not in my store. Some establishments had it go on for much longer than a day though

It's supposed to be the day after Thanksgiving, but you don't have that. Our bad habits are spreading.

Then the Monday after is supposed to be Cyber Monday. Who makes these rules?

Sadly, after that weekend, the sales start. I guess it’s neverending mania in the retail trade. And, of course, the holiday ads start too and I suppose the everyone will be rushing out to book their holidays.
Anyway, despite all that, I’m a tiny bit better today, but won’t tempt fate by saying any more
