On Sunday my clever reds played in the FA Cup 3rd Round against our bitter neighbours. Due to injury issues and the amount of games played so far, our starting eleven consisted of players who aren't necessarily first choice starters and a number of inexperienced youngsters. The opposition put out a full strength team:
Our oldest starter, at 34 years old, James Milner, was substituted after 9 minutes due to injury and his replacement was an 18 year old, bringing down the average age even further. The player in the picture above is the goalscorer, Curtis Jones, who also happens to be a local lad

...and Sunday's performance and result proved him right!

Have you been wearing anything different on your feet recently? When I switch between footwear I sometimes have some discomfort in one or other of my feet. Or doing more walking than usual or standing up for long periods? A couple of years ago, just after my nephew stayed with me, I started to have a problem with my left heel/instep. I put it down to the extra walking I was doing. The problem lasted for more than 6 months and is gone now, although I do get the occasional twinge in that area of my foot.
