RedFox70 Appreciation Thread...

^ What a lovely picture :luv:
Good evening, Gatorguy (*8*)

Good evening, my dear Mr. Fluff-Butt (*8*) Thanks, I have been relaxing today, mostly anyway ..|

Good evening, Foxy. (*8*) I hope you had that walk on the beach today - it’s been good weather today. Put your feet up this evening and relax. I’m just going to have something to eat - I won’t say what this iPad just suggested, but it involved something beginning with the letter c!:lol:

^ Gorgeous picture :luv2:

Good evening, Rob (*8*) Thanks, I did go for a walk. The weather was strange, or should I say typically British, lol. It started out chilly and overcast with the threat of rain, but after a little while the grey clouds cleared and the sun shone  Did the word end in the letter k? ;)

Good evening, Gatorguy (*8*) Lovely fox :luv:

Hiya, Dan (*8*) Thanks, he is, but only visually ;) In person he is quite a boisterous little chap. I suppose that's because he is a terrier though.

Good late evening, Foxy - I’m listening to some music - the word ended in an n. It’s something repulsive that some natives do, reportedly, in some remote places of the world.
The photo’s are as lovely as before, and I like the bird?, on his head along with your nephew too. Please post more when you can.:gogirl:..|

Good afternoon, Rob (*8*) Aw, thank you, I'm so glad you like the photos  Did you also look at the ones I posted in the Post Current Pictures thread? I've got lots more photos as pretty much every time I've been for the beach walk I've taken photos, but I'm not so sure they'd be very interesting to other people. I'll go through them again though and see if there is anything that I think is worth posting :D

(*8*) Good aftrnoon my dear Miss Fuzz-Face.

That is a lazy way to walk your nephew.

I hope your time off is continuing to have moments of sunshine. th_Smiley-msn-com-Natures-70217.gif

Good afternoon, Foxy. (*8*) I hope you’ve had a great day, and will get the chance to relax in the evening. It’s cloudy here after a sunny morning. Dry though, for now at least. They say it may get a bit frosty overnight. We’ll see.
Er, I haven’t yet looked in the thread, but I’ll go there next. ;) I bet it’s good stuff to see, and I hope you get to have more walks on the beach before winter starts.

^ Aww! That is so adawable! :luv2:
Good evening, Gatorguy (*8*)

Good evening, Rob (*8*) Thanks. I might even continue the beach walks into winter, providing conditions are not too harsh of course and it's safe to be down there. However, if I do, I think I will not take the nephew as I'm sure he would not enjoy it. Lovely foxy picture :luv:

Good evening, my dear Mr. Fluff-Butt (*8*)
Psoriasis is a good diagnosis of the condition of some of those poor Iron Men! :(
That is not lazy, that is a sensible way to get him out of my way while I take pictures! Otherwise some of the pictures turn out a bit out of focus as he pulls on his lead! ](*,)

Some information from the local council's website:

At certain times the installation will be totally covered by the tide.

As a rough guide, if there is a tide of around 9-10 metres the artwork will be submerged for an hour or so either side of the high tide. If the tide height is 7.0m most of the statues can be seen and at 4.0m or lower all of the statues can be seen.

They are positioned at different distances from the shore and spread across the width of the beach. A number of them are far out into the sea and so spend much longer in the water than others. I'm not actually sure if those far ones are ever completely out of the water. No, the ground isn't solid, it's all sand but in parts it's almost like mud and there have been instances where people have got stuck. The statues are mounted on metre long foundation piles, but there are two that have toppled sideways, no doubt due to the softness of the sand.

Hiya, Dan (*8*)

Whaddya mean, x-rated?? Because of the nekkid menz?? It's art, dear boy, not porn [-X :slap:

Good afternoon, Foxy. (*8*) I hope you are having a lovely day, and don’t take any notice of Dan. He’s naughty! I’m OK and just about to catch a train to York. I’ll be visiting the railway museum.
