Greetings to all, from the home of the European Champions

Many thanks for all the kind words and lovely pictures and special thanks to my dear Mr. Fluff-Butt for the the extra special pictures and the video

I was unable to go to the homecoming as I was working It's possible that I might have still been able to see some of it after work, but I felt rather ill and so went straight home. I was also ill on Monday, with a migraine, so had to stay off work. I'm much better today though

About the final, it wasn't pretty, neither side played well, although the stats will tell the story that Tottenham had more possession and goal attempts, but they really weren't very threatening. In the end, I don't care about the performance, the scoreline and winning the trophy is what matters. Sure, it would have been lovely if the game had been entertaining, with lots of great skill and scoring chances, but to be honest, finals are often not spectacular. For this final, the conditions were hot and sticky and therefore energy-sapping. Added to that that both sets of players have had long hard seasons but then hadn't played a game in almost 3 weeks and it's hardly surprising that they couldn't put on a show. As I said, the result is what matters and my lads got it and thoroughly deserved it. Not that I'm at all biased, of course

I hope you guys are prepared for this thread to be bombarded by me with lots of lovely pictures, etc., of my clever boys over the coming days, and probably weeks

Thank you, my dear Mr. Fluff-Butt The migraine was yesterday morning, but I did start to feel ill on Sunday. As usual the lack of decent air conditioning made for unpleasant working conditions.

Good evening, Foxy. I’m glad the migraine has gone and that you are fully recovered today. I don’t mind lots of photo’s of your winning boys.. But, seriously, they have done so well to win such a big prize and be the European Champions. A shame you had to work on Sunday and missed the homecoming. Hopefully you can see lots of videos of it.
I’m ok, and will be visiting the cemetery tomorrow since it’s Barbara’s Birthday, but I’m going with a friend.
