Good evening, Foxy. I hope you have kept cool today. It’s been hot again, and tomorrow is the hottest one at 40C in the south east. More violent storms tomorrow evening and overnight. Then it cools down and freshens up by Saturday.

Good afternoon, Rob It's easy to keep cool at home, I move around as little as possible and sit in my armchair with the fan facing me! Work is a different story though. Wednesday was horrible, I kept having to wipe the sweat from my face and my clothes were sticking to me! Tuesday night/Wednesday AM we had a lot of rain and thunder but that didn't make Wednesday much cooler. We've had a couple of brief rain showers so far today and I'm sure I heard a rumble during the first one, but it's still very hot. I'm very much hoping that the forecast for Saturday comes true I love the fox picture, especially the tongue sticking out

Good evening, Foxy. I hope you are able to relax in front of that fan this evening. The thunder you mentioned about was from a huge storm which I was tracking on the radar. It’s now just short of Edinburgh! More storms to come over here this evening and night with tornadoes being an added threat! Anyway, I’ve been in front of my fan, and have had lots to drink.
Tomorrow will be 25 to 26C and Saturday, about 19C! But over here getting on for four inches of rain in places by Sunday night...

Good evening, Rob Thanks, I've been relaxing in front of it for most of the day! Shortly after my post this afternoon, we had even more thunder and lots and lots of rain. Then the sun came back out and dried it all up. Still very warm this evening. The news reports have said this is the hottest day for July on record.

You know, I can’t help thinking it’s nothing more than a giant phallic symbol! Just joking. It was quite an achievement wasn’t it to go to the moon. I wonder if we will ever go there again? I have my doubts for we seem so consumed by our little things here on Earth. I mean, what if, when the Sun goes nova we have to leave the Earth? We’ll have to be ready for that eventuality.....

Good evening, Foxy. I hope you have had a great day. It has been a little bit cooler today. We had a couple of storms earlier today, and it was possible to notice it cooling down. But not by much, just a couple of degrees. Tomorrow will be much cooler. About ten degrees lower by the evening. But lots of rain too unfortunately.

Good evening, Foxy. I hope you have had a great day in the much cooler weather. It’s so cold over here that I’m having to wear clothes today! But, sadly, my rugby league team, Hull FC are out of this years Challenge Cup final after losing to Warrington Wolves....no further comment will be made!

Good evening, Rob Yes, I saw a headline earlier about the game, sorry to hear that It's been cooler today here also - except in work of course! What made today worse for me was that after an energy-sapping later shift yesterday, I was back in early this morning It's been raining here all day but unfortunately it didn't keep the customers away!
