Good evening, Rob Thanks, I had an okay sleep, but not great and woke up late and feeling a bit rough. I went shopping and after a late lunch took my favourite nephew for a little walk and felt much better afterwards After a rainy start to the day, from the afternoon onwards it was dry and sunny, which is rather frustrating as I could have gone the beach if yesterday hadn't been ruined by the headache Oh well, maybe next week. Good evening, Foxy. I hope you’ve had a great day today. It’s torrential rain and gales overnight with wind and showers tomorrow ahead of a very stormy weekend unfortunately. It seems summer has gone away early this year.
I’ve been feeling stressed today and those pains have returned which has not surprised me. Anyway, despite the weather, I’m looking forward to a better day tomorrow.

Good evening, Foxy. I hope you are safe and well after the big power cut. I hope the rain did not cause any flooding issues either for you, only you seemed to get the worst of the rain overnight according to the radar which I was checking.
They say two generators were responsible for the huge national power cut, and hundreds of trains came to a stop, especially around London. Police had to go and help out at road junctions in London.
Here’s a pic of a train being evacuated in London. It’s one of the class 700 electric trains:

Good evening, Rob Fortunately the power cut did not reach us over here and we have not been flooded out either The power cut must have been horrendous and so frustrating for those affected by it.

My lads kicked off the new Premier League season this evening and have begun with a well deserved and comprehensive home win

After the first half performance - and scoreline - I was hoping for more of the same but it was not to be. Worryingly, our brilliant goalkeeper had to go off due to injury. I have no doubt that is why we conceded that goal in the second half
