Finally, the Indian Wild Land Fire Suppression Crew removed the 7 trees damaged or blown down in the 9/1 storm. Two of them where cute There was no charge for the service which have cost upwards of $2000.

My lot is very naked now.

Indeed, the roof of Tesco, here in Beverley, is leaking like a sieve, with buckets all over the floor to catch the drips into. Drip, drip, drip! That was the first thing to capture my attention on entering the store earlier today! Anyway, it’s been a good day despite that.

I phoned work this evening to find out when I'm next in, thinking it would be some time this Sunday, but was told that I'm off all next week as well! Apparently I'm on holiday! I wish I'd know in advance though, I like to think I could have planned to do something productive with the time.
