Good evening, Foxy. I hope you have had a good day today. Sadly, Gary has now got a bad tooth issue. Details are in his thread, but it’s what I’ve been thinking for a long time now. We need the dentists back as soon as possible. I’m okay, and I’m relaxing this evening.

Thanks, today was a bit better than yesterday, probably only because I wasn't in work for as long. We were still very busy and short of cashiers
Ouch! Poor Gary! Hopefully it won't be much longer before dentists can treat patients again. I'm glad to hear that you're okay

I hope your tooth is better.

I have (had) two golden permanent bridges on each side of my lower jaw, anchored between two molars each, since I was 12. One broke lose Monday, leaving a sharp ridge cutting onto my tongue and making swallowing very painful. The dentists had just been allowed to reopen and their appointment chandlers are full. I consulted the two in town and both said to file the sharp points off and I got an appointment for next Wednesday. I used a small file and it worked (and was not painful). The tongue is still sore from the slicing it took, but eating is mostly pain free and improving.

Usually people around here go to Mexico for expensive dental work at a greatly reduced cost, but the getting across the border is limited to a few hours a day and then it is complicated.

There is no pain from the exposed anchor teeth, maybe I can just get by with leaving everything as it is with two molars missing. I'll find out Wednesday at the examination.

Good evening, Gatorguy Thanks, I wouldn't say my Sunday has been wonderful, but it was certainly much better than Saturday Apparently some people believe that social distancing is no longer necessary Anyway, as more and more shops open back up again, maybe some of the idiots who have been coming to my store will piss off and go elsewhere Failing that, I hope we get lots and lots of rain soon which will deter people from venturing out
