Today at work wasn't too terrible, although it certainly did have its grrrr moments ](*,) I'm in early tomorrow, for a short shift, then off for two days, returning for two afternoon shifts then a longer one on Saturday.
My lads returned to winning ways today (!), so now Foxy has a happee :mrgreen: It wasn't pretty, but they came good in the end and got the victory :=D:


Rob, if there was an unsubscribe option on those emails, you should have done so. That's what I do when I don't want to deal with junk email. Unless, as you say, they were phishing, which I guess could be dangerous if you did click on unsubscribe. In any case, hopefully you won't have to deal with any of those anytime soon ..|

Another cloudy and cool day here, but I’m doing okay, and ready for my lunch. Unfortunately one of those emails is from my ISP who I thought would have known better than to continually do surveys. I think a simple delete of such emails is the best way, for now.

A new cashier started today and I did manage to have a quick word with my manager about doing less hours, so hopefully after this week things will get a bit better. I won't be counting any chickens though. Weather is apparently going to be wet tomorrow but dry on Wednesday, so maybe I can do something positive then, like gardening or a walk on the beach :D

Good evening, Foxy, (*8*):kiss: firstly, I want to echo all that Adam has had to say. You are a lovely person, who is doing a very important job. Don’t let those customers grind you down. Hopefully, you’ll have some time to yourself tomorrow. In an ideal world you’d be able to go on holiday, but that will not be possible this year. Perhaps you can rest your mind, listen to some good music and have a refreshing walk on the beach.
I’m okay and have been trying to clean some grot off an old railway photo’, with mixed results.

Good evening, Rob (*8*) :kiss: Thank you for those kind words (*8*) It's not just the customers who get me down, it's the whole workplace and some of my colleagues/management.
Today has been a day off work and I've had a mostly lazy day (not helped by the lousy weather). Hopefully tomorrow will be dry and I will probably visit my sister, which might include taking the nephew out :D
I'm glad to hear that you are okay and keeping busy ..| Lovely foxy picture :luv: Ah, how nice it must be to lie down in a field or meadow and enjoy the sunshine or just have a nice refreshing nap!

It's not the Chinese virus that keeps us in our houses here, it's the sun. 116F (43C Centigrade sounds much nicer) right now. The heat is getting me down and making me lazy. Except for a couple of hours starting at 5AM, being outside is nuts, unless one is boating or water skiing. Wallyworld keeps the store very cool. Their electric bill must astronomic.

Is there a Wallyworld near you? I think you would like it better than where you are, but then all work is, well work. They seem to truly care for the workers and will mostly honor the hours and days you request. I have exactly what I asked for. There sees no end to the programs available, from money for collage, to money grants in emergencies, to how to balance the bank book, to budgeting, to retirement and investment plans. When we log on to the computer network you are asked how you feel from 1 to 5. Counseling is available for free.

The best part, is we are paid and can buy our food and not hunt for it ..|
