Good evening, Rob (*8*) :kiss: Thanks, being the weekend, I was in work - I almost always work weekends. I'm off next Sunday and the following Saturday though as I will be on a week's holiday :D I hope your condition has greatly improved by now! ..|

Good evening, Foxy, (*8*):kiss: I’m glad you got through the weekend okay, and I hope things went okay for you today. I’m glad you have some time off coming up, you’ll be able to put your feet up, or go for nice walks, etc., Over here we had morning rain, then it was dry for the rest of the day. Warmer tomorrow at 21C. I’m relaxing this evening. On Wednesday I’m going to York with a friend on the train, then in the last week of the month I’ll be back in York for a couple of free lunches thanks to some friends off the railway forum I belong.

I wish I could go for walks, but my foot problem has been preventing me from doing so :( Even when the weather has been dry and not too hot, I haven't been able to make the most of it :( I'm glad you're able to get out and about and meet up with friends (*8*) :kiss:
 
Oh dear. That’s such a shame, Foxy. (*8*):kiss: I hope that the foot problem will heal up quickly so you can get out for walks again. Hopefully you’ll be able to do something good during that week off. ;)
 
Thanks, but I've had it for a while now and I should probably go get it checked out. If I can get a doctor's appointment anytime this year, that is :rolleyes: The nephew is coming to stay with me later in the month, but our walks might have to be short ones. I still haven't been to the beach this year and I'm really missing it :(

So sorry to hear of your foot problem. The nephew will be disappointed if he doesn't get to pee on the beach statures. :lol:

I have my walking problems and standing for work is a problem. The walk to my car across the parking lot after my shift can be difficult. I work weekends also - Thursday through Sunday.

This was a three day Holiday (Labour Day). It was slower than in passed years and except drunk customers who gave trouble over wearing masks and shirts, all was calm. Did I mention we are still in the months long heat wave. Still around 118F+.

It would be my pleasure to take you to dinner at Anderson's. And the long drive up there from my house is beautiful. And you get all the Split Pea Soup you can eat. They just keep refilling your bowl. I am a pig and usually have 3 or 4. It is a meal in itself.

I hope your foot problem is fixed soon.
