Royal Ascot was broadcast live here. I started at 6AM.

The Golden Gate Stakes was won by Foxes Tales. He was dead last until the last 3 furlongs, had a bust of speed and won going away.

The Queen had 3 horses in today's races. The closest to a win was in the first race. Her horse led all the way only to lose by a half length. Wonder what happened to Her losing jockeys?

It was comforting watching the cold, wet weather there in England as we are cooking here. 122F yesterday and started at 88 when the broadcast began and going up to 113 when it ended. It's 116 right now.

Good afternoon, my dear Mr. Fluff-Butt (*8*) :kiss: No swimming yet for the nephew - it's not hot enough - but he did get his feet wet in the lake today :D We've been for a walk every day and most evenings we also have a shorter walk. I rarely take any notice of horseracing, only bothering with the Grand National, which takes place here in Liverpool :mrgreen:
