Hello, everybody (*8*) (*8*) (*8*) (*8*) (*8*) (*8*) I hope you are well and having a good weekend (group)

I've had a rough week, but the gums are healing and the pain is getting less day by day. Weather here has been very hot (for us Brits ;)) so getting rest has been difficult but from today the temperature has dropped significantly and it's set to continue to be cooler in the week ahead, so hopefully I can gett some better quality rest and sleep.

Good Saturday Afternoon RedFox (*8*)

I am glad you are healing and will back to yourself soon.

(*8*) Good evening my dear Miss Fuzz-Face.

So good to hear from you and that you are feeling better.

Now you should not be preparing all that delicious food while you are under the weather. It all looks wonderful and you have included soft food for your sore gums. I hope you are able to eat all the F&C and not just the mushy peas.

England hot? That really happens there? We continue to roast, but tomorrow they say it will be a cool 98F. Not to worry, it will be up over 110F in a few days. And it is humid.

Hope you will be back to your old self soon. :luv:

Good evening, my dear Mr. Fluff-Butt (*8*) Thank you

As far as the fish and chips are concerned I could eat it, as long as it was cut up small, to avoid chewing, although I would have to probably have to leave the batter.

Anything above 70F is considered hot here :o  I think that I could cope better with the hot weather here if I lived somewhere without neighbours. People just become louder and more inconsiderate *%%*

The good thing about air conditioning, besides being comfortably cool, is the widows are all closed, blocking out the noise of neighbours.

Of course they are locked up in their abodes, so it is doubly quite and no one is crazy enough to be out and about. My closest neighbour is across the street about 200 feet away and screened by the row of palm trees at the edge of my property. And he is only here in the winter.

But then a/c is a costly investment for the few days it is needed there.

You rest now and heal soon.

Here is some chicken soup.

Good night my dear Miss Fuzz-Face. (*8*)(*8*):kiss:

I lived in a terraced house but it's not the neighbours either side of me who cause me distress, it's the ones across the street. Closed windows don't always cut out the noise, as I've had to suffer it in the winter also. The main issue is that these particular people feel the need to play music, usually in their car, at full volume, no matter what time of day. And why is it that when people play loud music, it's always the sort that is played in nightclubs? You never hear classical or jazz, for example, being played at full blast. So basically what you hear is not actually the music or singing, but a continuous thump thump *%%*:soapbox: It's very distressing, and I keep wishing that they will move out. I hate these people and wish something bad would happen to them.

^ leave a dead horse head on their doorstep.

Good Sunday my dear foxy friend. I’ve has neighbors like that in the past. They usually don’t last long. I’d call the police on them every time they turn the music on.

 ..|

Good afternoon, dear Ali Cat (*8*) Unfortunately, this particular neighbour has lived there for several years and despite a rumour that she wants to move, there is no sign that that is going to happen anytime soon. Her current boyfriend seems to be the worst culprit for the music, but there are numerous other incidents of noise coming from them, including loud arguments in the street and I've seen the police there a number of times. I've been told things about them which troubles me and so they are not the sort of people that I would like to speak to, in case they become aggressive towards me. No point in calling the police regarding the music, they are powerless to do anything about it. There are laws in this country about noise between certain times of the day, but I don't think they are ever enforced, not in domestic circumstances anyway. And yet businesses need licences to play music :##: Several years ago there was a pub at the back of my house and the noise from there was barely noticeable, the most noise I ever experienced was some loud people one afternoon in the beer garden.
