"Liverpool have confirmed they have collected ‘substantial’ evidence relating to allegations of a fan at Anfield spitting at a member of Manchester City’s coaching staff on Sunday. Liverpool are investigating allegations of a fan spitting at Man City staff. City made a formal complaint over the incident, which took place during the 2-2 draw between the clubs in the Premier League. Speaking after the match, City boss Pep Guardiola said that he hoped Liverpool would take action against the individual responsible and that is what the Reds are in the process of doing."

This incidence is making headlines every day on this side of the pond.

There is a big monsoon storm moving up form the Gulf Of California and is about to pass over me. Lots of thunder. but no rain yet. I am off work and have no plans to go out today.

As usual, any alleged unsavoury incident pertaining to LFC or the city is highlighted, deemed newsworthy and blown out of all proportion. I can guarantee that if this referred to another club, it would not be glossed over and buried.
