Hello, my dear Mr. Fluff-Butt (*8*) :kiss: Ouch!! That was me a couple of years ago, although without the bone graft. I ate small amounts of food and rinsed with salt water afterwards. The pain was pretty intense at times but preferable to what I was enduring before the extractions.

I hope you make a quick and full recovery (*8*) :kiss:
 
BillyT has died. We became close and would talk for hours on the phone. Wish we could have met in person. He is free from pain now and can rest in peace. Goodbye old friend.

Our area is getting hit by a tropical storm this weekend. The first since 1939. The good news is the temperature has dropped from the 120F of this last two months and will be in the 80s for a day or two. The rain and lighting started last night and will continue through Monday. The heavy rain will cut of the roads accessing this area. I will not be able to get out of Big River.

Hope you have had a good summer with lots of sunshine.

Even though Billy had been having health problems for a while and hadn't been around much I was very shocked and saddened when I first saw the terrible news. Like you I too wish I could have met him. He was always kind, thoughtful and generous and JUB is a lesser place without him. Rest in peace, dear Billy, and thank you for being my friend.

We are still hot, but a little cool down last night allowed for a comfortable shower this morning. But it is back up to 115F this afternoon.

Sometimes I wish we had your weather.

Time to warmup the TV, grab a glass of Canandian whiskey and some of my home-made salsa and chips and wish Billy was still here.
