Our weather has warmed up considerably this week. It's nice to have some warmer, drier conditions, but it's very draining, especially in work 🥵

I wish your matches where being broadcast here. The last several years they were shown almost every Saturday morning. That will be reversed if the lads start winning.

Because the lads are in the Europa League which is played on Thursdays, the weekend games can't be played on Saturdays. I don't have subscription TV so I hardly ever get to watch the games. The British companies who cover football are pretty bad anyway so I'm not missing anything.

Billy would be proud of his Gators. They won 22-7.

:( My Holy Men lost with 1 second left, 17-14. It was a great, hard-fought game.

My other favorite team, USC, is leading 7-0 in the 1st quarter.

The Europa League is the second most important of the European club competitions, where teams from various countries compete against each other in small groups and then in knockout rounds. Teams have to have won a domestic trophy or finish high in their League to qualify for the European competitions.

I'm really glad to hear that about Billy's team :biggrin:

My Holy Men look very bad losing, but USC won a marathon, triple OT game which ran until 11:30 last night.

Billy's Gators had a good victory, 38-14.

Down to 4th in the table now. I don't think there is any actual chance of VAR being revamped. There's not much wrong with the actual technology, the problem is the incompetent and corrupt officials, both on and off the field of play 😤
