I wanna go! :mrgreen: ... I just bought a brand spanking new planner for 08-09 and am writing in the dates for the meet ... let's see if the BF will go this time, but I would still go if he cannot.

GL, thanks for not disturbing my Hawaii plans in June '09 :badgrin: I would like to have that menudo again!

I drove to San Antonio for the Labor Day meet last year, and I think I spent around $320 for the weekend; gas (there and back), hotel, food and drinks.

So you already have at least two nights at the Drury Riverwalk covered, you'll just need to factor in the cost of getting there! ..|

Unless of course GL247 is willing to allow us to camp-out on his sofa! :D

Yes!!! I save all my $1 bills that I make each nite from serving and put them into my "JUB Account." I now have $30 in the account. I figure that I'll have some nites that I bring home a whole bunch of $1s and that'll bump me up. I hope to save about $400 by... next year! ;)

hey corny,

the feed back has been pretty good so far. i am organizing this one and i have scheduled it for 05/23/09 to 05/25/09. at this point since its still 11 months away all that i do have is interest and a few commitments made to attend. in a couple of months i'll be getting in touch with the hotel we used last time to see if i can secure a group rate. i'll provide an update in this thread when that gets done.

if you're interested centexfarmer and i are planning a mini meet this coming august. as that one is a little over a month away perhaps that could be tagged for the front page?
