En route to San Antonio from Illinois, INITIALLY I'll first drive due north almost 300 miles. My last stop on that part of the trip will take place 330 miles northeast of here, before I start the massive trek southwest.

This will be one of those *RARE* "once-every-15-years-or-so" trips I make, in which the same trip has major components and significant distances in two entirely opposite directions. My last trip of this type was in 1989.
 
I'll definitely know by Wednesday if I can attend,but I think placing even 50-50 bets would be stretching it....holiday weekend is very busy at the supermarket and I'm not feeling confident I'll be able to get even the first half of the weekend off.:(All I can promise for certain is I will call in if possible and say hi to y'all.
 
having worked retail i know all too well how busy the holiday weekend can get. regardless i do hope you can make it. :)

I know I tacked myself early onto this, but it looks like y'all won't be seeing me at this meet after all :(

I was a dummy and planned a vacation with some friends that weekend, so I'll be in Florida instead of my usual Texas.

Totally bummed out by this :cry:

Unfortunately,the Memorial Day weekend schedule at work won't provide me with the opportunity to have fun with y'all in San Antonio.:(Believe me,I would much rather be with you guys and gals having a blast than running myself ragged for a whole holiday weekend trying to keep up with having enough rolls ready to go or restocking condiments.Yep,fun stuff I'll be looking forward to...sigh!

I'll give y'all a call on Friday night....I hope San Antonio will be an awesome experience for GL and everyone!Plenty of pics and great perspectives,please:D...as if I have to say it!;)
