We (myself and LilBit only) spent part of the day at the Zoo, but it was rather hotter outside than either of us really hoped. At least there's shade there. Six Flags would have been miserable.

We ate at a little Mexican restaurant, El Potosino, on North San Pedro. I got the chicken fajitas and one of the tacos, I forgot what LilBit got. We both found it good, in fact I think I liked their food even more than our group places...

Ever been there, GL?
 
^ yes i have! i know some of the family that own and run the joints (they have a couple of locations in town) and yes, the food is good! :D

Thanks for setting this up and for a great time. I am so glad that Ed and I went to the meet and that this was our first one. Thank you for some great memories, including our "Latin dance" at the Bonham (*8*)

It was great to see Bob and Bradlee again - my fellow Bostonians - Can't wait to order those steak tips (*8*)

Well I made it to North Caroliney and my ass is pretty sore from the 22 hours I just drove. Yeah, the driving. That's what did it... :rolleyes:

Well we got home with no drama.

Brad, Bob, mimimctatas and I spent our last hours of the meet together. Then we left for the airport.

The airport is small so my friend and I went to Brad and Bob's gate to sit with them until they left. A bit stalkerish. :eek: :lol:

i'm still experiencing after glow from this past weekend. but it wasn't because of all the great times we had together but because of the nifty lightsaber that bob got me. :mrgreen:

thank you but i had help getting it all put together. the funny thing is at one point as i saw the numbers of attending begin to dwindle i seriously thought of canceling the event. but there was a point that commitments were made and it would have been rude to do so. i am so glad i changed my mind. this turned out to be a wonderful time and i enjoyed myself all together. i was afforded an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship i had with those that attended and even those that called us to say hello. it turned out to be a win/win in my book. :)

I'm really glad you all had such a great time. I wish I could have made it! I swear I tried my best to get there on Saturday; I stayed up past 6am doing what needed doing, slept for a while, kept doing and finally left sometime... I don't remember when. I had to turn around before I even got to Fort Worth because I was falling asleep at the wheel. GL called shortly after I made it back to the house, so at least I got to talk to him! I owe you a hug buddy!

i just said goodbye to lilbit. i was lucky enough to have dinner with him and his gal pal who is now my new gal pal! i believe he will be going home tomorrow.
