Last night, while laying out under the stars to watch the fireworks, I looked up and saw the arch overhead, and I thought of all of you.

I see the Cubs playing the Cards this weekend,and there it is in all it's glory,the Great Arch in the background rising majestically.Every time I see that stadium again and the Arch,can't help but to think of one great weekend we had this past April no one who attended could ever forget.Thanks KJ for being such a wonderful part of that experience.(*8*):kiss:

Sometimes I still can't believe I travelled all those miles to attend. It was a once in a lifetime experience to be with my JUB family

And, I got to see and travel to the top of the Arch. How many guys from Western Canada have done that

ST. LOUIS has a special meaning to me as of twelve weeks ago, and I don't expect that will change.

It looks like there will be some "repeats" in California in October. COOL!

Well Daniel, I hope you don't mind me bringing this up here...

He thought about bringing a possible annual JUB Meet to STL. An interesting idea, for sure ;)

It's centrally located, we all had a good time, and maybe next time we could make it to a Cardinal game at Busch! (omg I know, I'm a freakshow about baseball - but Sausy liked it! :lol:)

It's an interesting proposition. I know I could probably do it (barring a move somewhere from work, which would make me sad...)

But do we want to go to new places? That's one of the things I loved about the JUB Meets - aside from STL, but that was awesome regardless - going to new cities/places/sites to see in the given city. Like Chicago...holy shit, there's so much to see there. Which I'm sure is the same for many cities across the U.S. Going to San Antonio and Dallas was a blast, especially since we had local JUBers that knew what and where we were going...

With my job, I just don't know up until maybe a month at the earliest when I can be somewhere :(

Thoughts on this?

(oh and Daniel, if you start a new thread on this, I'll lock this thread and transfer everyone over to that thread so the conversation stays concise and in one place :) )

^ Well, in terms of threads that don't die yeah, there really is no point of locking this one if another thread developed about a "central location/constant JUB Meet" point in the JUB Meet Forum :)

I only brought that up because people could start talking about it here, and there, and then over here, which could become confusing. Trust me, I've seen it more than thrice :lol: (like KJ mentioned...)

It's much easier (as you know Stacy) to have all the information in one place.

That was my only concern. No need for me to piss on the party - unless everyone is into watersports! :eek:

You're going to get on the fucking dance floor if I have to pull you out there myself!:pReally interesting idea though with San Antonio next May as the major meet I don't know how it would be arranged,at least if one may be possible next year.

would you mind if i move this thread there? the new forum is thought as an archive for the people who attended the meeting, so that the threads don't get lost in the meetings forum, and for newer "meeting interested" members so that they can see where jubbers successfully already met in their vicinity. i already moved a couple of the other threads in there, except this one - because it's in the f&g forum - you are quite having an "afterparty" here :). so i figured i'd better ask the posters here if they would mind the thread being there.
