Wow, it's really great to read all this discussion about the absence of anal sex in a relationship!

For years I've wondered about my sexuality (still do) and one thing I never understood was how I could be attracted to men but cringe at the idea of anal sex, what I would consider to be deepest physical connection two men could make.

Here's why I don't like the idea:
#1 Tight spaces. I would be afraid of injury.
#2 Feces. They're dirty and smelly.

To those of you who do have anal sex, did your thoughts change from before you had it to afterwards? Also, is there some type of special hygiene routine to clean yourself out before/after? Does the guy who top get shit on his dick? :confused:

You know, I wish I remembered. I saw two rather comprehensive surveys - one was in the late 90s, and one was earlier this decade. In one, the figure was 48%, in the other 45%. And yeah, I was stunned by the figures, as well.
