Considering she was "The Iron Lady"...did she use make up or Rustoleum?

Yes, I remember that thread. He's a great man too and I may have to find some news on him.

Which famous quotes from Thatcher do you guys like...???

On her deathbed: That wallpaper is revolting, oops my bad.

Points for guessing who uttered those immortal lines, one clue it was a man....

Who would disrespect the poor woman this way?

This is a very detailed interview on her path to power.

She really could do an interview rather well and she never grew tired.

That would be me, and countless others.

Do not get me wrong Max. She was a "special lady", Starting off as a scientist, then training to be a barrister, kudos for that.

As far as being a fan, nope!!

What about the time she gave her speech of socialism?

I shall have to find that video and add it to the collection.

The old girl caught out in a lie, not so smart when confronted with a member of the public off message.

Oh, there is no doubt about her skills as an excellent example of Oration, however her attitude and the way she "spoke" down to people. IMO, diminished this ability...

What about those rude ones interviewing her who talked down to her first?

^Just another joyous example of politics, though to be fair Max, if she was not faking the sincerity, then she spoke to "underlings and reporters as if she was on the perpetual rag........;)

Some of those reporters deliberately called her out on her policies and looked for a reaction. I think she handled the situation well considering they did this time and time again.

But is that not what reporters do?

Yeah but they pushed extra hard with her only to try and make a name for themselves but the iron lady was always one step ahead.

She had all the answers.

^She certainly did, just a shame they were to the wrong questions................:p

Well, if she pulled an 'Appleby', it would be rather impossible to know, wouldn't it? Hilarious, but impossible.

She had more honesty in her than Mr Cameron and she didn't believe in weekly vacations.

They had recess in Thatcher's time and she went on holiday. In fact here she is on holiday

It's time to remember the woman who was a powerfull figure in the UK.

What are your fondest memories about the woman who made history? Do you think she was a good prime minister?

Edit: sorry about Margarat.

Margeret.

What are your fondest memories about the woman who made history?
I can't remember. Now I remember... Nothing.

Like Reagan, She faded in a distant memory.

She didn't take a vacation every day like the modern leader. Whenever a crisis here Mr Cameron has reportedly had to cut his holiday short.

A moment in time. Margaret Thatcher speaks from the back benches for the first time and once again does it well.:gogirl:
