I think my brother will probably get it for his xbox and then I can play it!

Stupid thing is, he's never played a Resi game before and didn't like Resi 4 when I played it. Why does he want this one? The same reason he wanted Tomb Raider: Underworld. ( he hates tomb raider and never played any of the recent ones of these either) Because they look pretty. Chances are he'll die to much and give up before he's completed. He did that with Underworld.

I have a friend that is just like your brother.lol He could never make it past the first part of the last game. He gets frustrated way to easily with some games.

I find it so annoying. He'll spend £40+ on a game and barely play it. And I'm telling you he buys a new game almost every week.
I love my Resi games. I have all of them on Gamecube... I think. And I have the Resi 4 Wiimake. And Umbrella Chronicles. I can play those games to death. Especially the first Resident Evil (Remake) on gamecube.
The thing with my brother is he doesn't like to have to think. Tomb Raider made him think so he put it down. Now that Resident Evil is more action based and less puzzle he might have more time for it. And we both played the demo together and kept dying (him mostly) so only time will tell if he finds it too difficult! lol

I dont like how the RE series have turned nowadays.

It's sad because story wise it wouldn't really make sense to run around the whole Umbrella thing again, but gameplay wise they shouldn't have gone that far off from what made the series to begin with.

I guess it's time for a reboot! dun dun dunnn

I miss the survival horror feel of resident evil as well. RE4 had its moments but not like the ones before it. I like the action that was introduced in the last game and looks to be just as intense in this game. I just hope that capcom doesn't over do it and completely loose the horror aspect of the game in future titles.

I'm really looking forward to it (and I'm really sick of people trying to say it is racist) but I even if I get it tomorrow, I won't be playing much this weekend. I'm hoping it doesn't arrive in the mail until Monday. I did the mail delivery with GameStop and I am always getting what I order on the street date even with cheapest shipping.

With this one, however, I'd like it to not arrive until Monday.

This weekend is MOMOcon and I don't want to be distracted from my cosplaying

I love the survival horror feel, but I think Resident Evil would have a hard time continuing that entirely without being too repetitive. I think perhaps that is why they decided to do what they did with RE4 in an attmempt (successful attempt, in my mind) to breathe new life into it. When it worked, they decided to continue on.

My concern is Sheva. That isolation feeling is so great like in RE4. Even with Ashey around, felt isolated since she was only useful as bait and an occasional helper to climb over something or w/e. Sheva being there all the time and co-op...I'm just unsure.

I'm getting it when it comes out. I'm so psyched.

Anybody want to play co-op? I'm really not that interested in playing 1P, but it would be cool to play from the beginning with a partner and go through the entire story/game together. I have a PS3, but none of my PSN friends are ever on at the same time...

Seems like the game is pretty HOT...

But I'm worried "it's just another RE"...
I'm not a hardcore gamer so this will problly be a OK Game... but we'll see
