I can't imagine, (unless Dan Savage invents a special definition for Perry for Google), anything more delightful and humiliating in the pop culture milieu than Perry being known as having the video that was more hated than Rebecca Black's Friday as part of the epitaph for his political career. But I'd be happy if he just beats out Bieber. It should keep his humiliation alive in the mainstream news.

Unfortunately for both of you the Christians will be preaching their distortion of the great nursery rhyme from their pulpits every Sunday and Wednesday and they are not alone. The Catholics will do so as well. J_B18 you go to a church that accepts you BUT admit it; for every church you attend that is accepting there are 100 others teaching hate.

SO if you got 100 million dislikes THEN maybe the republicans would take note but it is not gonna happen off a YouTube video whose majority dislikes are probably twelve years old. Or perhaps the sense of community and allowing that expression is relevant to promoting our own identity and advocacy for civil justice within our own lives?

It's a good feeling that my post is just one of hundreds of thousands of dislikes (mostly not 12 year-olds), dozens of parody videos, and national media attention that has alienated the moderate independent voter from Perry for a commercial that was just meant for the fundamental crazies in Iowa. We all know Rick Perry is an asshole, so spread those five fingers mister, and slap me a good one.

I would just point out that the number of dislikes has earned this video and the message a fair amount of attention in the bigger world.

If we all just sat back and conceded that there is no purpose to taking a stand and making our own feelings known, no change would ever have been possible.

In my view, getting out there and making a public statement, or participating in a public protest is way more relevant than just posting partisan bitching and moaning about the Obama administration on a porn political forum in some hope of scoring a win against one of the other posters.

There are now over 1.0 million results on Google relating to Rick Perry Hated Video Strong Youtube. The attention this video gets is now almost entirely negative.
