Well, I brought it up, so obviously I care.

Why not release one album with a good amount of strong singles instead of 2 albums with just a couple of okay songs? They probably don't have the consumer in mind. I'm not trying to compare her to anyone, but artists like Beyonce and Ciara were able to take full advantage of their debut albums based on the quality of the songs and the promotion they put into them.

Um, actually, Beyonce's CD in my opinion only had a few good songs. Me, Myself, and I, Crazy in Love, Naughty Girl, and Hip Hop Star.

Ciara's albumw as awesome start to finish.

I didn't care for Rihanna's Pon de Replay, but I love SOS.

Jay Z better submit her in the right categories

Best New Artist (Technically she is eligible because her album was released after the eligibility date for 2005. And until an album is officially released you arent considered a new artist.

Best Dance Recording - S.O.S (how could this song not win? )

Best Pop Album - A Girl Like Me

Record of the year - Unfaithful

Song of the year - Unfaithful (Although Ne-yo would probably win that since the award goes to the song writer)

Best Pop Song - S.O.S

Best Pop vocal performance - Unfaithful

Best R&B song - Unfaithful

Best Performance by a duo or group - Break it off with Sean Paul ( If it is released as an independent single like what usher and alicia keys did with "My boo" last year)

I still dont know how Pon Di Replay didn't even get nominated last year but they'll make up for that snub in 2007.

Pon di Replay wasn't nominated because it was a terrible song. And although she may get nominated a few times, I really doubt she'll "clean up". But I will let you know in October when the ballots come in.

I dont think she'll win anything at the Grammys...vocally she doesn't have the goods. Her song Unfaithful is awful and her breathing technique is horrible. Did you see her performance at Jay Leno? It was excrutiatingly painful to listen! And don't forget Christina has got an amazing double album on Aug 15 and the reviews thus far have been excellent, not forgetting Beyonce's and Justin Timberlake's.

Sorry newboy12, but I'm going to have to agree with these guys. I think Rihanna will be that one artist that gets 6 or 7 nominations overall but gets completely shut out when it comes time to win anything (there's always one artist every year that does). The best chance she has of winning is definitely Best Dance Recording for SOS. If Britney can win a fucking Grammy for Best Dance Recording (as she did with Toxic) then anyone can in that category, not to put her down (too much). Rihanna is hot as fucking hell and could turn this gay boy straight in a heartbeat (LOL), but this guy above me is right when he mentions the fact that multiple Grammy winners Xtina, Justin, & Beyonce have highly anticipated albums coming out soon that will most likely be doing the cleaning up at next year's awards. But, hey who knows? We'll find out when time comes......

Rhianna better not clean up. The last thing I need is for Ne-Yo to win a Grammy through her! That horrid Unfaithful should be unlawful, the way it makes my tender ears bleed and bleed!

ticketmaster currently have no tickets left for any of the dates but bookings direct still have some tickets left for the 8th and the 9th of january.

Well lucky for Rihanna europe does NOT factor into the grammys. You go Rihanna you are the next big thing. You rocked in the TODAY show in new york.

People will always hate because there are jealous but just rise above all and shine like the star you are :).

PS - S.O.S is unstoppable. There are only 2 more months left for grammy eligibility and no dance singles will be released from the other artists and there is no denying that when S.O.S starts to play you cant help up get up and dance or even just rock your head to the beat. Its a definate frontrunner for Best Dance Recording.

I hope she does claen up , she deserves it , she has an awsome album. I Reckon she could win a few awards . I just got beyonces deja vu off i-tunes and that is an awful song , its so crap and jay z wrecks it even further , i expected more from beyonce

Aussieguy...I totally agree with you on Beyonce...Deja Vu is horrendous and repetitive!!! I could only tolerate it for like the first 30 seconds and then it's Deja Pooh!!!!I've read that she only took two weeks for the album, probably to coincide its release with her movie coming out in Sep 2006. I mean seriously, aren't you guys sick and tired of seeing Bee and JAy Z together again?

Deja Vu is crap she is just screaming her head off (crazy in love part 2) and jay z's rap has nothing to do with what beyonce is trying to sing about.

As for sexy back i dont know whats going on there. People were saying beyonce and justin are going to release albums so Rihanna is not going to clean up but based on those singles, Deja vu and sexy back Rihanna will have no trouble come grammy night.

Besides Beyonce is R&B while Rihanna is Pop/Reggae so different categories.

Rihanna is beuatiful a real talent and deserves recogniton and we will all see it when the nominations are announced.

Yes she should have won at the BET awards The Naked Truth was on fire. Really good work. Wasnt so much about sex and more about good music. Usually cant get many singles from a lil kim album because of the sexual content but she got 4 quality singles from that album so hopefuly she will be recoginsed come grammy night.

Nelly Furtado cant be overlooked either and really she cant be because Promiscuious is no doubt going to win Best Song by Duo or Group as its definately the frontrunner. that song was everywhere and is still on top of the charts. But Looose her album is very good too, i only hope they manage her properly and release the right singles to promote the album. I like maneater the orignal version but i heard that if it is released in the US they would use a remix and i dont really like the remix its way too slow. But she has many good songs on there to choose for singles.

I just hope that grammy gets it right this year because sometimes they award people who really shouldnt even be nominated.
