Actually, no. Elvis WAS added as a songwriter on several of his early hits, at the insistence of Col Parker as a sort of kickback scheme. But that was only true for the first few hits. By 1958, I don't think any song appeared with him listed as songwriter.

As I said, people have slammed my favorite acts with stretched truths, falsehoods and bullshit before. I'll weigh in with "Actually, I think it's actually like this" but I don't feel the need to go on the warpath. Because honestly, Rihanna doesn't need your help to protect her image. And acting as you are doesn't do you OR Rihanna any favors.

I think it's weird how in the OP's view, Rihanna is a "Grammy award winning princess" while Alicia Keys is like some mega-bitch who stole everyone's awards. I think you should either accept that the Grammy is something credible as a whole, or reject the whole thing completely. You can't use the Grammy Awards to suit your purposes when they recognize Rihanna but dump on it when it rewards someone else.

Rihanna is a good singer. But not the best singer in the world.

Can we just leave it at that?

We are not going down this road again.

A Grammy is a Grammy no matter what the category.

All Grammys weigh the same and are made of the same material and are a sign of industry respect and represents the years best in music.


Rihanna did not even have an album out so it is quite an accomplishment that she received 2 Grammy nominations with no album out.

She said the pictures were taken for her boyfriend so i would like to know what is scandalous about that?

Then she said every girl should take naked pics when they are young so they can look back on the good old days when everything goes south.

Even though Samantha from Sex and City isn't the perfect example..she took took naked pics and put them up in her apartment siting the same reason Rihanna did.
