I'm so proud of Rihanna and her success. I've seen some of her videos from her opening night in Antwerpen, Belgium and she's improved on her stage presence.

31st July can't come any faster....sooo looking forward to seeing "Photographs" live!
 
Well Rihannas 5 week strangle hold on the number 1 spot will end this week but lets not be sad because Rihanna did well and Rudeboys successor is very worthy of the number 1 spot so its all good.

cant find it on youtube, and i have trouble posting the link to the daily motion video. look for it yourself.

i really like the song, actually. at first, i was a little put off by the transparent attention-whoring lesbianism. call it the katie-perry-effect. but the song is really catchy, the production is wonderful, and rihanna actually sounds quite sincere when shes singing about heartbreak. the videos not bad, either.
 
I can't believe this untalented "singer" is still putting out stuff and people are buying it.

I just love her.

Normally a voice doesn't matter to me its the beat and the hook but I will listen to a song with her in it because there is some characteristic about her voice, its obviously her accent but when she hits notes its incredible

Yes the lyrics are very ironic for Rihanna, it makes the song even more real, I like it.

What about this new Rihanna song 'Only Girl'? It reminds me of Kelly Rowland's 'Commander'. Unfortunately 'Commander' didn't do well on the Hot 100, but 'Only Girl' will likely go #1. 'Only Girl' will probably get loads more unrequested airplay than 'Commander' did. That's not fair, imo.
 
Rihanna releasing another album so quickly only reaffirms that she is a singles-artist. It's a shame because Rated R is such a strong album. Not really feeling "Only Girl," but I'm sure once it becomes a blimp on radio I'll be this song's bitch.

Gemini_Valley: Hasn't Rihanna been releasing an album a year? Anyway, it's not like Rihanna has much say in what she does artistically. I'll probably be another bitch for Only Girl too. It's already getting heavy rotation here and it just debuted last week.

tell me what do you know about the whole machine behind Rihanna that makes sure she won't fail. i am a huge Rihanna fan but i always thought that there are way better and hotter singers than Rihanna out there with better songs why don't they become huge, what makes Rihanna a poor girl from Barbados being an international super star? i am trying to get in the industry too and trying to understand how things work.
why doesn't Kelly Rowland become huge she has good songs too.
