RIP Dom Deluise

One of my favorite clips of his:

Oh, how I loved Dom!

He was the comedian's comedian!

He could make you laugh until you peed your pants!

He was never vulgar.

He was witty, and always proud of his Italian heritage.

He was the best co-star in movies, and the smart, funny guest on talk shows.

He was a marvelous cook. I own and have used both of his cookbooks!

Dom made you feel good whenever he showed up!

God Bless you Dom......Rest in peace.......

I'll always remember him at the end of the movie "Blazing Saddles", where he plays a nelly director directing a line of chorus boys dancing "The French Mistake" He was hysterical, yelling "Watch me, FAGGOTS!".

^ Classic....

"I'm parked over by the commissary..."

***UPDATE***
They now think his kidneys shut down. First Bea Arthur now Dom Deluise, so sad.

Never thought I would have a reason to quote this song but here it goes:

"I saw Matt Dillon in black and white there ain't no colour in memories

He rode his brother's Harley across the TV while I was laughing at Dom DeLuise.

Now I'm cycling all my video tapes, I'm crying and I'm joking"

from "After the Fire" as performed by Roger Daltrey (lyrics by Pete Townshend)

Johnny and Dom. I challenge you not to laugh:

^Just the sheer absurdity of this is funny.

They don't make TV like that anymore.

Plus, after watching that I'm fairly certain that Dom was 'batting for our team', if you know what I'm sayin'.... ;)
