Just a follow-up.

A company in Ontario got the contract to supply ICE vehicles (I assume it is a US owned plant).

It sickens me to think that ontarians are helping to enable these atrocities in the US.

Another reason that many of us want to de-couple our economy and producers from the US.
 
At least in Oregon, TrumpCo. didn't murder people to hold the state to ransom to get voter data.

But the Courts dismissed the attempt by Trump to obtain the info and Bondi's letter to Minnesota certainly is going to lead to another loss there.

Former CNN host Don Lemon has been arrested after he entered a Minnesota church and filmed anti-immigration enforcement protesters as they disrupted a service.

Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents on Thursday night while in Los Angeles covering the Grammy Awards, according to a statement from his lawyer Abbe Lowell.

"Don will fight these charges vigorously and thoroughly in court," the attorney said.

Lemon went into the Cities Church in St Paul on 19 January with a group of protesters who said one of the pastors was an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official.

"Don has been a journalist for 30 years, and his constitutionally protected work in Minneapolis was no different than what he has always done," Lowell said in a statement posted to Lemon's Instagram account on Friday.

State Board of Education members criticized the publishing errors and postponed their vote on the agency’s request until their next meeting.

The Texas Education Agency has to correct roughly 4,200 errors in a Bible-infused elementary school curriculum that was approved by the state two years ago, the State Board of Education said Friday.

Board members postponed voting on an education agency request to correct those errors during its final meeting of the week, saying they needed more time to review the corrections.

That includes 547 requests to replace images with “licensing issues,” said Pam Little, the board’s Republican vice chair. It also includes formatting errors, typos and incorrect page numbers.

Records obtained by The Texas Tribune through an open records request revealed additional complaints from educators about problems like missing pages, incorrect answer keys and books falling apart.

I think that it is hilarious that they are concerned with errors in the Bible.

The worst part is that Texas basically sets the standard for what gets published for other states as well.

I suspect that they rushed this legislation through the Texas Legislature and they rushed to get the "educational materials" into the schools before the courts could catch up with them.

They also passed a law that mandates that schools have the Ten Commandments posted in every public school classroom in Texas.

My thought is that, based upon the transcripts that I read of Ken Paxton's trial, the Biblical training and Ten Commandments are needed more in the Texas Legislature than they are in Texas' classrooms.
