The White House Disinformation Secretary, Karoline "with a K" Leavitt, repeatedly claimed that Federal Judge James Boasberg was "an Obama judge" and a "Democrat judge". The White House is working with their minions in the US House to try to introduce articles of impeachment against Judge Boasberg because he interpreted the Alien and Sedition Acts as they were written 250 years ago.

Leavitt was fact-checked in the Press room real-time by one of the journalists. In fact, Boasberg was appointed by George W Bush.

Leavitt then started talking about Judge Boasberg's wife... in the White House Press Room. This faux Christian, who got her job because she's married to a Trump donor, is setting all new lows for political propaganda from a "press officer".

While at the Kennedy Center rambling on and on this week, Trump happened to mention that he was [again] going to release the JFK assassination papers. This would be the third time they've been released, only this time he was going to release them "unredacted". Turns out that the redactions included the personal data of certain government employees, including one of Trump's attorneys, Joseph diGenova.

It's so bad that the SSA is likely going to have to issue new SSNs to the people who were doxxed by the Trump Administration... assuming that there's anyone still working at the SSA after the DOGEbags lay off the staff or close the SSA altogether.

Joseph diGenova, 80, and Christopher Pyle, 86, both had their names, birth dates, birth places and Social Security numbers unmasked in the document released by the National Archives -- potentially putting them at risk of identity theft and fraud.

The Washington Post spoke to both of the former staffers and ABC News confirmed that both men's Social Security numbers were in the newly published documents.

It is unclear how many other people whose Social Security numbers are in the documents and are also still alive. The Washington Post reported that data of more than 200 former congressional staffers and others was made public.

If you want to understand the US slide into fascism, then you need to understand who one of the actual architect of all of this is. Because when you see where this all came from, everything that is happening makes sense.

And I was reminded of this today with a link to Fear and Loathing substack.

Curtis Yarvin doesn’t want to fix democracy — he wants to kill it, drag the corpse out back, and set it on fire. In its place, he envisions a cold, ruthless world where billionaires sit on thrones, governments operate like customer service hotlines, and power belongs exclusively to those with the deepest pockets. Yarvin is another incredibly damaged tech bro who thinks he has it all figured out. A monarch, of sorts, who holds all the power, all the control."

Eventually the King will die...or are overthrown and the empire crumbles into many pieces as the heirs and/or competing Imperial contenders duke it out.

But this is why at this moment modern democracies now have reason to be very fearful. This sociopathic vision of the future is remorseless and utterly anti-humanist. The broligarchs won't care if people die or how they die. Until they do...

The lies have a purpose. They want to discredit a successful government program that has been around for 80 years and that Americans have great faith in. The purpose of the lies is also to occupy diligent people with fact-checking and thoughtful rebuttals, whilst they continue to run amok. There needs to be at some point, possibly soon, a more robust and blunt defence of democracy and the rule of law than fact-checking and thoughtful rebuttals. Perhaps the courts will deliver it. That would be the best option. Contempt of court can be a sledgehammer to even the slimiest fly fresh off the pile of shit on the sidewalk. Hopefully that will be all it takes to begin restoring the rule of law.

I'm glad you posted this. I've been debating whether I should post this little story I found in a FB comment. When you first read it, it sounds like a conspiracy theory. But after a little research, it does seem to be what is actually happening.

The plot in a nutshell.

A couple of comments from me:
I've been saying since 2016 Trump was just a figurehead, a useful tool, for the real people behind the plot to overthrow the U.S. government. They'll dispose of Trump when he served his purpose.

The line, "Democracy in America will be permanently replaced by a corporate-run authoritarian state", is no different from Mussolini's definition of Fascism: "Fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power."

This is where we are headed if it cannot be stopped.

If you're a little confused about what Musk is trying to achieve with DOGE, here's the breakdown:

Elon Musk and Peter Thiel cofounded a company that became PayPal.

Other executives at PayPal went on to found or lead other huge tech companies including YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, Affirm, and many VC firms.

This group became known as the PayPal mafia because they exerted an outsized influence on Silicon Valley.

Peter Thiel mentored a young JD Vance and helped him get set up in his first VC firm.

Peter Thiel and the PayPal mafia funded JD Vance's successful Senate run. Amazing because he had absolutely zero political experience.

Thiel and Musk all but forced Trump to choose JD Vance as VP in exchange for funding his presidential campaign.

The three of them, plus a lot of other tech billionaires subscribe to an ideology called the Dark Enlightenment espoused by this super weird, creepy dude: Curtis Yarvin aka Mencius Moldbug.

Yarvin preaches that the media and academia represent "The Cathedral" that secretly controls power and must be dismantled.

He advocates for a corporate run, monarchy, led by a CEO-Dictator.

Says that Democracy is an "outdated software" and openly opposes it and that:
- Government agencies should be dismantled and The U.S. should be broken up into "patchworks" controlled by tech oligarchs.
- That the elite tech billionaires should rule because they have the intelligence to "fix" society
- That the "masses are asses" too dumb to govern themselves.

The strategy is to gut the government via R.A.G.E - Retire All Govt Employees to make government incapable of operating.

Then to replace government with private corporations.

To eliminate elections because they are "obsolete"

To use distraction and chaos to prevent public resistance.

Trump is their useful tool to be disposed of as soon as they can wrest control.

This is why Elon wears a black MAGA hat. They are not Trump supporters, they are "Dark MAGA"

This isn't a hypothetical. The plan is already in motion:
- Musk, Thiel, and their network are actively dismantling democratic institutions.
- JD Vance, the “MAGA heir,” is being positioned to help implement this transition.
- The public is too distracted to realize what’s happening.
- If successful, democracy in America will be permanently replaced by a corporate-run authoritarian state.

I've been saying since 2016 Trump was just a figurehead, a useful tool, for the real people behind the plot to overthrow the U.S. government. They'll dispose of Trump when he served his purpose...

I've had a couple of friends liken the White House to the Court of Versailles with the favorites and courtiers flattering the king to obtain power to act on the king's behalf and in the king's name.

There's a story that I heard in the run up to the 2016 election where Trump was seeking to get endorsements from evangelical ministers. The advisers were talking about the history of the Republican Party and the evangelical base wishlist. Trump's response: "Why not just give them what they want?".

If he made those kinds of Faustian bargains in 2016, just imagine what he was willing to barter away in exchange in 2024 in exchange for avoiding prison for all of his crimes... like stealing classified information from the White House when he left in 2021?
