Oh, I was in New Orleans just last week. Seeing Paul Goodloe on the Weather Channel makes me hope Francine won't hit too hard. I got e-mails about canceled events in New Orleans this week.

I'm fine, and it is a gorgeous sunny day here. 77°F at 12:45pm. I'll be out!

I'd forgotten the debate was here! I was riding the El (well, it's a subway in Center City) and 5th Street Station was closed yesterday. D'oh, that's the station by the Constitution Center. But Philadelphia was quiet last night otherwise.

I had a lovely home brunch today with a cheese omelet and cinnamon toast. And coffee...this is my current brand.

Listening to music this evening, I’ll be going to bed soon. I feel a bit odd with my nose and throat. It may be a cold starting. I’m supposed to be going to Scarborough with a friend tomorrow, but I’m thinking of postponing it to a later date.

To tell you the truth, the only reason I watched the debate was to get a better sense of Kamala, since I felt I didn't really know her well-- I had long ago made up my mind on how I'm going to vote. I already knew what a POS :poop: her opponent was. I think she did well enough, though I confess that I wanted her to be a bit more commanding and self-assured than the way she came across.

Rob, I'll have to take in Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. I enjoyed the original, in that it flipped the script on horror movies by having a strait-laced dead couple wanting to "exorcise" a bunch of living weirdos from their house. I hope you're not coming down with something. But use your best judgment, and if you don't feel well, stay home and rest up.
