Okay, by popular demand, I went to the naked poetry reading.
It was only $10, and easy to reach (although in a pretty bad neighborhood). But the place was nice, a modern clean artist studio.
Tommy the poet was naked from the start. He's big, older, with huge balls. His poems drew from his experiences...bodies, nudism, the Bronx, big pharma, and big balls. Personal and sometimes funny.
There were only a few of us in the audience. Including Mike, who I found attractive and quite well-hung. We "flirted."
At the end, we got dressed, bid farewell to Tommy, and went our ways. No "happy ending" but maybe pretty close.
I'm glad I went.

I called an old friend last night. David lives in Pink's hometown, Doylestown, PA. He's had a couple big setbacks; he had part of his leg amputated, and his older dog died. Bummer. But he's doing his therapy, has a pretty good attitude and an amazing boyfriend backing him up.

Although I'd like the amazing boyfriend (I'd never steal Tom away, though) I'm grateful for good health and good friends

I’m okay and ready for bed. What a place myself and my friend, whose birthday it was, went to for lunch. They were busy, but only had one person doing the cooking and one person serving. We had to wait one and half hours. On asking the reason for the delay, the reply was given, in an abrupt manner, that, ‘We are busy, and there are delays.’ Will not be going there again!!
