It has been quite a day. The garage door and frame and brickwork looks like it could take quite some time before it gets repaired. It’s just the way it is over here ever since the Pandemic started…….
Now I attended the first of six help groups regarding anxiety, depression and all such issues. It was helpful, but some very heartbreaking stories from those in attendance.
I got to Scarborough, on the train, in the afternoon. The sea air was very refreshing.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, I am due to go bowling with some friends. We’ll see how it goes…;)

Well, what a day I had!! It was good being with friends and the bowling. I won one game and came second in the second game.
Now, I had to visit the toilet half way through. They were giving out special codes to use the toilets. My female friend needed to go too. So we went into the toilets, and I helped her to put the code in. It took four attempts to get the door unlocked.
Whilst waiting, I looked at the door to the men’s toilets. It was closed and out of use.
I decided, wrongly I know, but I was desperate to go, to use the women’s toilets! My friend kept watch. Now, on washing my hands, I had to use the hand dryer. It would not work well, and I had to twist around a bit. All of a sudden a bottle of apple juice I was carrying in a pocket flew out and went into the toilet!!!!!:eek: I was able to get it out, and put it into to trash cans.
So, I hope you don’t think any less of me but it was one of those occasions, and one thing led to another! ;)
I will not be using those toilets again……

That train vid is so cool and I'm glad you had a good long bike ride and got your chores done. I was a bit sad today. Nothing to do with me, but I was watching a BBC Panorama documentary on the Baby P case and all the horror and anger I felt when I first heard about the case (a few years after it happened) came flooding back. I heard that poor child's "mother" was arrested again last fall and I hope she never gets out this time. 😞 Anyway, your emails really lifted my spirits so thanks, my friend. Hello from Cleveland!

Remind me next time I go to Toronto to spend more than two days. It's got so much. I stayed near Kensington Market, a neighborhood I'd never seen despite several Toronto visits over the years. I saw Minnesota beat the Maple Leafs, which made me happy but not so the feisty local hockey fans.

The highlights of this Cleveland visit were 1) minor-league hockey. Well, not  that minor, since the Cleveland Monsters play in the same big arena as basketball's Cleveland Cavaliers.The Monsters lost to the Providence Bruins, 4-2.
2) A fabulous performance by the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Three pieces, old and new, captivating and beautiful.

Tomorrow I plan to visit "The Big Home & Garden Show." I'll catch the train for home Tuesday.

Hope your weekend included some fun! Don't dwell on the monstrous, keep fighting for the good.
