Well, what can I say, but three women and two girls. That’s a lot of talking! ;). Your aunt is right, the girls screen time must be limited so that they can grow up without things happening like forgetting your name. I love hearing stories too, and I wonder what your grandpa did in WWll? In my family, there was a distant cousin who was killed at only 21 whilst in the RAF.

So, today, with lots of help from my support worker, I was able to get a complaint lodged about the barking dog. I’ll keep you updated, but it sounds like it could be some time for any resolution. However, my support worker, has put forward a case, with the Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. As before, that neighbour is leaving the dog home alone for lengthy periods, and my worker said it’s a cruelty case. I certainly feel happier that things have got started today.

Thanks for the hot email and train pic, Rob! :kiss: My first day back at work went well. :) I don't know what my grandpa did in the war other than just being a soldier, but my aunt shared a story of how terribly he was treated by a white man when he returned to Arkansas afterwards. That man put his life on the line for his country and some bigot called him the N word and spit in his direction and there was nothing my grandfather could do. :( That's so tragic about your distant cousin dying so young.

I'm glad you were able to reach the RSPCA (ours is the ASPCA) about your neighbor's dog. Hopefully some change can be made and thank goodness you were the one to set it into motion. (group)

I'm rebooked for Thursday morning.
Tuesday was pretty disastrous at work and I'm thinking of not going back.

I have had a strange day. I decided to go to lovely old Scarborough. I got there on the train without issues. On getting to the station for my train home it was cancelled along with all the remaining trains for today’s timetable! So I then found a train to York, and I caught it. At York, I was able to find a train, at a much later time, that would take me all the way back home. So that’s the one I caught. The reason for all those cancellations was a broken bridge, over the river Ouse at Goole. Network Rail are hoping to have it open to trains from tomorrow morning, so we’ll see what happens.

So I haven’t had time to enjoy the studs you sent me last night, but I hope to do so later on tomorrow. *|*. I hope you got to enjoy those I sent you last night.:p. I hope to send you some more studs before I go to sleep,*|*

It sounds like you had a good time with your family this past weekend, though I think after a weekend with three women and two girls, I'd be ready to take a mental health day off for myself.

IKR? Other than having to drink from separate water fountains and sitting in the "coloreds only" balcony in movie theaters I don't remember hearing stories like that from my relatives. It makes me realize how blessed I am to have been born at the time I was.

Well, I tried to have an edging session in the afternoon, but I think I have migraine coming on, only I couldn’t get very far with it, and gave up and had some water to drink after an hour. I can usually tell when I have a migraine about to start, although it hasn’t so far this evening. I also think the warm, humid weather is affecting me, so I’m going to bed early as I can tonight.
