Tomorrow I have to renew my SEPTA Senior Key Card. It's the pass that lets me ride any transit vehicle in Southeastern Pemnsylvania free. It's paid for by the Pennsylvania Lottery: our lottery proceeds are dedicated by law to senior citizen programs.

Duck Duck Go had an extension for Firefox a year or so ago that showed what was tracking you. I pasted that stuff into my HOSTS file and no sites I go to are broken or complain about an adblocker. Since then I've added a Pi-Hole to my LAN. Told my router to use it for DNS and that filters tons and tons more of crap.

The websites that say disable your adblocker? Nope. I'm not going to click the ads. I don't want to see the animated distractions and I can sure pass on the ads for toenail fungus cures. So, bye!

Oh, I did. It was from Geno's branch location. Geno Jr. Is openly gay and an LGBT supporter.

I do tend to request the queerest books. Delaware County Libraries usually come through. But a couple of times they had to go statewide for me. They got Michael Nava's latest for me all the way from Pittsburgh. I have no idea why it wasn't found closer.. it was a wonderful book set in Victorian-era Mexico City.
