Hi RM! I'm well and happy. Hope you are too.

I went to the library today and along the way saw a utility pole some fool crashed into. The car was there with a very serious dent in front, and the pole at a 45° angle. So of course the nearby traffic light was out and it's a busy intersection (supermarket, beer distributor, gas station, smoke shop on the 4 corners). For once I was thankful for the small-town police department who was promptly on the scene.

The library didn't lose power, probably because they're on the other side of the train tracks. I was glad to see a reading list they had available for LGBT teens.

Tonight I taste-tested pizza! There's a new pizzeria nearby and my housemate got a regular pizza and one with 'sweet sauce." Both were good, but the 'sweet sauce" seemed tangier to me, like it had a hint of BBQ sauce.

Officially known as the Baldwin DR-12-8-1500/2, which stood for Diesel Road, 12-axles, eight of which were connected to traction motors, with two engines, each producing 1,500 horsepower. The 2 stood for their original design philosophy of having two of them semi-permanently connected back-to-back to form a 6,000 hp package. 56 of these Centipedes were produced for three railroads. Designed as a high speed passenger mover, they were outclassed and outsold by the likes of the competing EMD F3 or Alco FA1.

I had a good day, but what a mistake I made! The railway forum I belong has a thread which a good friend posts railway photos in each day, and I have my own railway photo thread too. Unfortunately, today, I got a bit confused…. First I posted a couple of comments about the photo’s my friend posted in his thread, and then I posted some photos in what I thought was my photo thread. Well they only ended up in his thread! I am honestly not sure how that happened, but I will make sure it doesn’t happen again. I have posted a full apology. I feel a bit easier having got that off my chest…
