Well, it’s been quite a day. I went shopping in the morning, and on leaving the supermarket, I recognized a familiar figure. It was Andrew who is back from hospital. He sounded good, and looks like his more normal self. Hopefully it will work out for him this time - I’m regarding the first time as a ‘dry run’. He said he was in a kind of state where he could not speak hence his return to hospital. Anxiety can do awful things like that, I speak from experience unfortunately.

Yes, Andrew really is much better this time - I saw him again earlier on. We are due to go for a long walk next Tuesday to a nature reserve. It should be good.
Now I got to Scarborough, on the train, but it happened again trying to get back home on the train. This time, instead of a swan, it was a track circuit failure which stopped all trains in and out of Hull for much of the afternoon. I got home, eventually, three hours late!
